I've witnessed several historic events the last week or so.

1) The confederate flag being torn from it's masts.

This may seem symbolic for some, but the symbolism is deeply rooted in our nations history. I really never thought I'd see the day.

2) Marriage equality

The ENTIRE friggen country! Equality for all! The repubs will keep being dragged kicking, but they've not only lost the battle, they've lost the war on LGBTQ!

I thought I might see that during my lifetime, but I'm still shocked that THIS court did it! Thank you, Justice Kennedy!

Just ponder the history we are living. Twenty years from now it will seem unbelievable that this nation supported this bigotry and hate for so long.

I'm pretty happy today.

Isn't what they are so concerned about defending against the anarchist hordes?

This election cycle, I have feelings of hope I haven't felt before. This to me seems like our final chance, and we need everyone but the teabag crowd to vote for Senator Bernard Sanders.
