Trump has opened the door for mining.
This is the organization I've been following. It seems to have the best coverage and capacity.

KS-03 Again--HRC

I was reminded today that HRC won this district by a point in 2016. That was major.
We can do it!

We have several good Democrats running this year. Instead of highlighting all the good things about their chosen person, I am seeing negative blather about the other ones on various social media sites (haven't noticed on DU yet). Really, I think they're all decent.
The focus needs to go to November--who can win in an area that has voted repeatedly for Kevin Yoder? He can be unseated, but some of the candidates will not be able to do it. Really hoping that someone who can win in November wins next week.

Sometimes it seems like we're just not thinking it through.

I just read through the affidavit: https://www.justice.gov/opa/press-release/file/1080766/download

Great summary thread on Twitter by @SethAbramson. I would recommend reading it before reading the document, if you are a Twitter person.

NRA + Putin at prayer breakfast! + Flynn? + Jared/Don Jr/? + she's in jail and says she will cooperate = Hallelujah. I think it's all starting to come together by falling apart.

And she was arrested last week--the same week that Strzok was being grilled and then the 12 indictments arrived just as DT was headed for Helsinki.

This is beyond popcorn. This is chocolate covered almonds at the movies kind of fun.

Re Greitens: It ain't over 'til it's over

Media Advisory: Statement issued by Jackson County Prosecutor Jean Peters Baker on Greitens case
For Immediate Release
May 29, 2018
From Jean Peters Baker, Jackson County Prosecutor:
In an earlier statement, I said that my office will not comment about the case involving Governor Greitens or its review until our Office’s work had been completed. Given today’s events, however, we believe that a brief statement is needed.
In short, our investigation continues. In the interest of pursing justice to its fullest lengths, we will continue until our work on the case is completed.
Specifically regarding any deals we made with Governor Greitens’ attorneys, no deals were made by my office. Our review of this case, as I have stated before, will be pursued without fear or favor.
My office will not make any further comments on this case.

Just saw this from 2011--Mueller about organized crime

So comforting to read this in light of current events, and in a conversational voice. I'm going to look for more of these.
