Hey Kelly, your boss, the dotard, is the one who's "eroded the standards of decency in America."

The families came in and gathered together, room by room. Many struggled to offer a weak smile when we whispered, “The president will be here soon.” A few were visibly angry—so understandable that it barely needs to be said—and were looking for someone, anyone, to blame. Mostly they sat in silence.

I went downstairs to greet President Obama when he arrived, and I provided an overview of the situation. “Two families per classroom . . . The first is . . . and their child was . . . The second is . . . and their child was . . . We’ll tell you the rest as you go.”

The president took a deep breath and steeled himself, and went into the first classroom. And what happened next I’ll never forget.

On Saturday October 7, the day the body of 25-year-old Army Sgt. La David Johnson was returned to Dover Air Force Base after he was killed in an ISIS ambush in Niger, President Donald Trump was golfing. It's not known if the President ever planned to attend the return of remains ceremony at Dover as he has in the past. But since the ambush on October 4 in Niger, he has not commented publicly on the deadliest combat incident involving US troops since he took office.

Retired Army Major General Paul Eaton, who played a key role in rebuilding and training the Iraqi military in the wake of the 2003 U.S. invasion, on Friday warned that Trump's decision may not only bring about a new crisis in the Middle East, but further escalate an already tense nuclear standoff with North Korea and further complicate the U.S.'s 16-year military campaign in Afghanistan. He appealed to Congress to not destroy the deal by adding more sanctions during the 60-day window lawmakers now have to take action.

"Donald Trump has moved us closer to a war with Iran, while he has also moved us closer to a nuclear war with North Korea. All while we're in a war in Afghanistan," Eaton said in a statement.

"The path we are now on—massive loss of human life, on the scale of millions—is not a positive development for America, or humanity," he continued. "We implore Congress to step in and rein in this president.”

A lawyer for Reince Priebus says the former White House chief of staff has been interviewed by special counsel Robert Mueller's team of investigators.

Attorney William Burck said in a statement that the interview took place Friday and that Priebus was "happy to answer all of their questions."

Priebus is one of several current and former White House aides expected to be interviewed by Mueller's team in the coming weeks as it investigates potential coordination between the Trump campaign and Russia.

Priebus did not answer his cell phone Friday evening. His voicemail box was full.
