When Trump says he "hasn't spoken to Barr about Biden," he's confirming that he has.

Trump said that it was okay to speak with “Attorney General Bill Barr about launching an investigation into his potential 2020 rival, Joe Biden, or his son, Hunter,” the report said.

Certainly it would be an appropriate thing to speak to him about, but I have not done that as of yet. … It could be a very big situation,” Trump said.

Trump’s lawyer Rudy Giuliani was scrutinized for traveling to Ukraine to get information about Hunter Biden’s involvement in an energy company.

“The efforts appear to be part of a broader campaign by Trump’s allies to damage the former Democratic vice president’s White House campaign and have raised questions about whether Trump’s team is trying to enlist a foreign government to aid the president’s re-election bid,” the report said. “I have not spoken to him at any great length, but I will,” Trump said in the interview. “I will speak to him about it before he leaves.”

Little Lindsey hissing on the Senate floor like a tiny snake about "cleansing the office"...

...Ari Melber just played it again.

Another day of "nickname tweets" from Trump, mocking his potential 2020 opponents.

Another day of Republicans circling the wagons around "nice guy" Don Jr.

Another day of no Trump tax returns and no unredacted Mueller report.

Another day of Lindsey NOT calling for a "cleansing" of the CURRENT office.

Trump's pissed about the Don Jr optics, as opposed to giving a damn about Don Jr...

Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Michael D’Antonio, author of the 2015 book Never Enough: Donald Trump and the Pursuit of Success, was interviewed on CNN by Don Lemon.

“Do you think that’s getting to him?” Lemon asked.

“I think what’s getting to him more than concern for his son — and I’m not sure how concerned he really is for his son because he doesn’t have the same feelings that the rest of us have for our families — I think he’s concerned for himself,” D’Antonio replied.

“He’s very much afraid that whatever Don Jr. said the first time he testified to the same committee behind closed doors will be contradicted by his subsequent testimony,” he explained.

A federal judge presiding over the obstruction case against Roger Stone has ordered prosecutors to turn over the unredacted sections of the Mueller report relating to President Donald Trump's former adviser.

In court papers filed Thursday, Judge Amy Berman Jackson of the District of Columbia said she will review the documents herself before making a decision on what, if anything, to release to Stone's legal team.

The order comes nine days after federal prosecutors told Jackson they opposed a request from Stone to view the Mueller report without redactions.

President Trump on Iran: "I'd like them to call me. You know, John Kerry speaks to them a lot. @JohnKerry tells them not to call. That's a violation of the Logan Act. And, frankly, he should be prosecuted on that."

Trump weighs in on "very good person" Don Jr. being subpoenaed.

“I was very surprised to see my son,” Trump explained. “My son is very good person. He works very hard. The last thing he needs is Washington, D.C.”

“He has never testified for 20 hours or something,” the president continued. “A massive amount of time. The Mueller report came out. That is the Bible. The Mueller report came out. They said he did nothing wrong.”

“My son is a good person,” Trump added. “My son testified for hours and hours. My son was totally exonerated by [special counsel Robert Mueller], who, frankly, does not like Donald Trump. Me, this Donald Trump.”

“And, frankly, for my son, after being exonerated, to now get a subpoena?” he said. “To go again and speak again after close to 20 hours of telling everybody that would listen about a nothing meeting? Yeah, I’m pretty surprised.”

Richard Blumenthal: "If (Don Jr) fails to comply with a lawful subpoena, prison is the only answer"

“I’ve said repeatedly that his answers to the questions and I watched him, were smart-alecky, untruthful, and misleading,” Fox News reporters cited him saying. “So I want to hear about what the truth is.”

Sources told CNN that Trump Jr. has considered declaring his Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination or avoid appearing before the committee at all.

Blumenthal said that he’s prepared to jail the president’s son if he refuses to cooperate with the subpoena.

“If he fails to comply with a lawful subpoena, he has no privilege, prison is the only answer,” Blumenthal said.
