I walked Mackinac Bridge one weekend (Labor Day?) in the late 90's,

when it was closed to traffic and available just to walkers.
It was likely the most athletic endeavor of my life (and the coup de grace for my knees).

Hope you can see them in the daily visit of a cardinal or another regular visitor.

I find comfort in that daily reminder that all's right with the world.

Lately I've had calls starting out "Grandma"!; I realize this is an old trick to get older women

to respond. Young male caller says they're in an accident or jail, etc.
I have a landline also and get many spam calls.

I have no grandchildren.
Those calls don't get very far with me...

Likely will be made into a movie sooner or later...
