About Me

Hi everyone! My name is Kristen but everyone calls me Kitten or Kitty. I just turned 18 August 30th. I am in my last year of High School (passing with flying colors - yay!) This will be my first time being able to VOTE this election and I am really looking forward to doing that and exercising my right as a proud American. I have been interested in politics since I was a young girl and have always been a Democrat in heart and spirit! This has been especially hard on me since my parents and my sister are die hard republicans so I have always been at odds with my family which sucks and can be very lonely. I was so happy to find Democratic Underground, for the first time I felt at home. I was a long time reader of the site but thought I would finally join up to show my support and hopefully make new friends. I know I could use some - especially SANE friends which would be a great change! lol Well I have no more to say at the moment so if you like to know more then please feel free to write me anytime. If you are writing to criticize on of my idiot post then I will apologize ahead of time as my fingers have a mind of their own sometimes... BAD FINGERS! BAD!! ^-^

Dunno,... :(

Still having problems with my parents falling for all the FOX News lies and deceptions. I have tried everything, even throwing holly water on them, nothing seems to work!!! Might try silver bullets next - especially before they vote this November

So this is what I would have to look forward to if these bastards win? How could any woman in their right mind vote for these people?!! I am going to show this to my mom and my sister who are planning on voting for Rmoney but I know what their response is going to be already - He just had his words twisted by the liberal media honey... err!!!

This article is true

as a southern white woman I am deeply troubled by ANYTHING that is associated with Rmoney. Since I only make about 12,000 a year at my current job after taxes I am starting to have a sneaking suspicion that Rmoney might just not have my best interests in mind, but then again I heard Rmoney killed Osama Bin Ladan yesterday so hmmmm... that might persuade me to vote for him...

Your lucky

I live smack dab in the middle of old racist white country republican land. There is like only 3 black kids in my school total and my high school is known for turning out the best tobacco farmers ever! It's like that is all the kids I go to school with ever hope to be in life. I hate it here, when I can I am totally moving the hell out of this state or at least this area I live in. lol

I never thought about this before. This will be the first time I can vote in my life I hope I don't get harassed outside my voting place. I don't know what I would do. They wouldn't stop me from voting that is for sure. I guess I would just run in really fast, vote then run back out. lol Of course I am white so they will probably just think I am voting republican and leave me alone. I hope everyone is safe and nothing bad happens to anyone in November

I thought they had all come to the agreement that it was in fact George W. Bush who killed Osama? I thought they said that W. trained the troops, set up the entire operation, had the uncanny foresight to see into the future to know when and where Osama would be for the prefect strike to take him out and even paid for the entire military operation himself out of his own pocket but then that evil democrat Obama stole his third term Presidency out from under poor W. and got to give the GO Ahead for the strike team to proceed instead and then took all of Bush's glory for himself?
