Trump's rant, at his news conference earlier today, was about how unfair the Democrats are treating Kavanaugh and that the White House and McConnell are pushing him through to the empty seat. It is not about finding the truth, it is about the GOP getting the absolute power and controlling every aspect of the government.

Where is it unfair to find out the truth? You say that the going to be an investigation over all the false accusations and the leaking to the press, but yet you won't support the elephant in the room! No, actually we want to save our country from a sex predator president, senator and a supreme court judge, who all happen to republicans.
