Russia hit the jackpot that they have their assets in charge of the United States from the White House, to the House Intelligence Committee. Putin must be smiling his ass off seeing how Trump from the White House, and Nunes from the Congress are just trying to dismantle the very agency (the FBI), that is in charge of catching Russian spies in the U.S.

Rush, Trunp, Nunes not disputing facts of Russia investigation
They are so desperate that all they have is a quarrel in how the FISA warrant that a court approvved to wire tap Carter Page,a suspected Russia agent, was obtained, and in the process what the FBI may have caught on those wire taps. Their desperation is showing.

So Nunes and his Republican buddies most likely want to bury whatever the FBI got on a court approved incidental wiretap intel they may have on Trump while lawfully monitoring Carter Page and other suspected Russian agents. My educated guess is that they have Trump on tape criminally conspiring with one of these suspected Russian agents and Trump and Nunes are trying to keep that evidence away on the grounds that it was illegally collected. Their argument wont pass legal muster but the attention on this propaganda memo is muddying the water for their gullible followers.
The only thing missing from Trump's attacks on the FBI is
"God bless Russia, God bless Putin!!", there at the end of his tweet.
The FBI has always had bias against law breakers

So for Republicans, it is okay for a President to break laws as long as he is a Republican
So rule of law, Constitution, norms of governing etc..only apply when a Dem is in the White House.
If the Pres happens to be a Republican, he can break laws left and right, obstruct justice at any opportunity, demean and attack the premier law enforcement agency that keeps all of us safe (the FBI), and basically throw feces at the wall in the Oval Office all day long, and is all okay with Republican law makers

So Republicans are successfully throwing dirt on the Mueller investigation by attacking the FBI
CNN seems to devote a lot of time on the Republicans baseless allegations against the FBI and bringing in Trump worshippers to talk about it---the actual investigation of Trump's criminality and the facts surrounding it is the giant elephant in the room.
So with this Nunes stunt to help Trump at any cost, the Trump minions are basically trying to change this legitimate FBI investigation of the Trump team's conspiracy with Russians into he said/she said, both-sides-do-it kind of story for the average voter out there who may not be so read up on the facts.
Democrats should be reminding voters that despite the Nunes created side drama that has nothing to do with the actual Russia investigation, the focus still should be what Mueller is finding out about Russia's interference in our election and who in the Trump campaign was illegally conspiring with them. That is the main issue.
Isn't Devin Nunes obstructing justice with his antics??
And doing Russia's bidding at the same time by doing everything he can to undermine the FBI??
3 Russian intelligence bosses were in Washington last week doing God knows what....and one of them was actually a sanctioned official. But according to Nunes we should focus on the real enemy, the FBI. What a farce.

Some things in our system just suck.
Why isnt there a rule that says the independent counsel can really be independent and not be supervised by a President's appointee at the DOJ.....the current system gives the president that is under investigation too much power over his investigators. Whoever came up with the way this is set up has really screwed it up.
Also there should have been a statue that says a President can't fire an FBI director if he is under investigation by the FBI.
The way the system is set up is so screwy that basically a corrupt president will use his power to fire or impede his investigators and get away with a crime.
Seems FBI has Trump on tape directing Flynn to tell the Russians
To ignore the Obama sanctions while Obama was still President, an illegal act. While the FBI was monitoring Flynn and Page under the FISA warrant, it looks like Trump was swept up in the wiretaps of the two alleged Russian agents and was most likely caught criminally conspiring with them, not knowing that their phones were tapped by the FBI, under court order. That explains all this drama by House Republicans and Trump to tear down the FBI because they know Mueller is about to drop something big and this is their way of blunting the damage.
House Republicans will soon have to decide whether Trump is above the law or not. We can either have a Persident subject to rule of law, or a king who can dismiss rules and laws as he pleases. We cant have both.
