Can someone help me, please?

There was a post from - I think - MadamSilverSpurs - that was an image of Paul Ryan stating that the Republican Party does not stand with the KKK - then a list of discriminator things that he and the GOP supported. Does any one have it or can reply with it?

I absolutely resent

that rural Iowa, tiny New Hampshire, largely vacant Nevada and two states from the deep south choose the nominees for POTUS. What about New York, California (that has the 8th largest economy in the world), Ohio, Illinois and even bat-shit crazy Florida do not get say on who runs.

it's stupid. There should be a single national primary or multiple primaries that make up a demographics of the entire country.

Dear Hillary....

Dear Hillary: I am a white female over 65. I was on the front lines of civil rights and the feminist movement working hard for the ERA including one-on-one written arguments with horrid Phyllis Schfly.

Last fall I was Hillary all the way. Not any more. I am supporting Bernie Sanders because of:

- The white lies and outright deceit, distortions, dishonesty, disinformation, fabrications, falsehoods, etc. from the your campaign and/or proxies. One would think that after all of the lies & half-truths spread about YOU - you would be more cognizant of what is said on your behalf.

- What appears to me the lack of integrity and trustworthiness (see above).

- Your ties to Wall Street as well as their donations (with strings) to the Clinton Foundation

- Your friendship and acceptance of advice from vile war criminal Henry Kissinger.

- The odious actions of the DNC under Debbie Wassermann-Schultz for your benefit which are reminiscent of the GOP in Congress and Lee Atwater.

- The rigged system of Super Delegates which insults my intelligence and sense of fair play.

- The disrespect shown by Wassermann-Schultz shown to Hawaii Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard.

- The rigging of audience participation and questions in the debates/town hall meetings by Wassermann-Schultz in your favor.

- The deafening silence from your camp re actions of Wassermann-Schultz.

- Bill's off- the-cuff statements about Bernie Sanders. What were you thinking, Bill?

- You are starting to remind me of Margaret Thatcher.

- The attempt by your surrogates to spread misrepresentations regarding Bernie Sanders that served no useful purpose whatsoever to further discussion of the issues.

- For me, the above and other actions cemented my support of Bernie Sanders.

You win Bernie Supporters...

I'm outta here. After - I can't remember how many years here - I had a post voted down because I dared to dissent.

When did common courtesy go out of style?

I must have missed the memo.

When did terse, curt, and mean belligerence become the norm for communicating?

Why is the cult of personality in the 10 second news cycle more important than consistent integrity and ethics?

And why are those with with minimal intellect and a smidgeon of authority the worst offenders?

Why can't we be civil and courtesy to one another?

A Note to Ben Carson who said a Muslim shouldn't be president...

Perhaps you should address Huckabee's comment about Dred Scott being the law of the land which would prohibit YOU, Ben Carson, from being president.

It was also said Jack Kennedy could never win because he was Catholic. If one lives long enough...

Thomas Paine on Religion in The Rights of Man

Persecution is not an original feature of any religion, but is always the strongly marked feature of...religions established by law. Take away the law establishment and every religion resumes its original benignity.

I think this is particularly apt today when government officials want to enact laws based on their particular religion or subject the public to the laws to their religion.

Sinclair Lewis: "When Fascism comes to America...

it will be wrapped in a flag and carrying a cross". This sticks in my mind watching Kentucky Clerk Kim Davis and her supporters in the GOP.

Note: although this quote is often attributed to Sinclair Lewis but the source has not been confirmed

I wonder how Donald Trump would react if someone made comments about HIS daughters

like those he made about Rosie O'Donnell and Meghan Kelly.
