Just updating, the separated part no longer applies, my wife and I have reconciled and are back living together ;) Have made a journey in my life from, foaming at the mouth Reagan Republican as teen/20something, to a FOB Clinton Democrat- to a politically dissatisfied voter, fed up with the political pandering, of both mainstream parties. Would today call myself a pragmatic libertarian. I believe that individual rights are more important than group rights, the best government is the one that governs the least. But realizing that an ideal libertarian society, cannot function as a form of government above the size of a small community. My #1 belief is that our current federal government is spread too thin, involved in too many things. Should be concerned with a lot less, but should far more power than it does in the areas it should be involved in
