"A gunman has opened fire on Wednesday evening at a historic African-American church in downtown Charleston, South Carolina, and is still at large. Reuters reported as many as eight people may have been shot along with multiple fatalities inside the church.

CNN International at Midnight has cited that several individuals are deceased inside the church, and there is a unspecified bomb threat in the local area surrounding the church.

Police described the suspect as a 21-year-old white man in a sweatshirt or hoodie and jeans, according to a Charleston local newspaper resource.

Charleston Police Department spokesman Charles Francis said the shooting occurred at the Emanuel African Methodist Church around 9 p.m. local time.

At the time of this report, local Charleston law enforcement officials are still searching for a suspect. Local Fox Affiliate Channel 8 reported that the FBI is on the scene. The FBI could not be immediately reached to comment."

"JUNE 15--The NAACP official who today resigned in the face of evidence that she masqueraded as black once sued Howard University for denying her teaching posts and a scholarship because she was a white woman, The Smoking Gun has learned.

Rachel Dolezal, 37, who headed the NAACP’s Spokane, Washington chapter, sued Howard for discrimination in 2002, the year she graduated from the historically black college with a Master of Fine Arts degree.

Dolezal, then known as Rachel Moore, named the university and Professor Alfred Smith as defendants in a lawsuit filed in Washington, D.C.’s Superior Court. During the pendency of the civil case, Smith was chairman of Howard’s Department of Art.

According to a Court of Appeals opinion, Dolezal's lawsuit “claimed discrimination based on race, pregnancy, family responsibilities and gender.” She alleged that Smith and other school officials improperly blocked her appointment to a teaching assistant post, rejected her application for a post-graduate instructorship, and denied her scholarship aid while she was a student.

The court opinion also noted that Dolezal claimed that the university’s decision to remove some of her artworks from a February 2001 student exhibition was “motivated by a discriminatory purpose to favor African-American students over” her.

As detailed in the court opinion, Dolezal’s lawsuit contended that Howard was “permeated with discriminatory intimidation, ridicule, and insult.”

Judge Zoe Bush dismissed Dolezal’s complaint in February 2004, 18 months after the lawsuit was filed and Dolezal was deposed on several occasions. Bush found no evidence that Dolezal was discriminated on the basis of race or other factors. The D.C. Court of Appeals subsequently affirmed Bush’s decision.

Following the dismissal of Dolezal’s lawsuit (and the Court of Appeals decision), she was ordered to reimburse Howard for a “Bill of Costs” totaling $2728.50. During the case, she was also ordered to pay the university nearly $1000 in connection with an “obstructive and vexatious” court filing that sought to improperly delay her examination by an independent doctor.

Dolezal’s lawsuit, included “claims for medical and emotional distress damages,” according to a court docket."

"To deny the existence of ones birth parents is not only a travesty, but equally constitute an action which unless grave family dynamics exist, frankly should not be done. Birth parent(s) are humans making an conscious choice to extend the miracle of life to another person.

There are unique differences between denial and non-communication.

Many personal family based situations cause the morphing to an route of Non-Communication with a persons' birth parents. Circumstances such as betrayal, incest, abandonment or other deep emotional pain only personal experience can suffice. However, denial is an entire other category in itself.

As to deny existence of birth parents cuts off ones true history, roots and genealogy background.

Furthermore, disconnection from other family members who are not at fault for the physical and psychological shriving of ties, amount to an action equality wrong in nature.

To be frank, as the saying goes, "Two wrongs don't make a right."

The game: deny family, get a tan, wear wigs and braids, adopt a "Black" Father and of course reap any benefits that could have went to a deserving African-American person for herself.

Affirmative Action in reverse, to say the very least.

Ezra Dolezal says he didn't know how to respond the day his adopted sister took him aside and asked him "not to blow her cover" about having a black father.

On that day three years ago, he said, Rachel Dolezal, 37, told him she was starting life anew in Spokane, Washington, where she's now head of the local chapter of the NAACP and chairwoman of a police oversight committee.

Ezra Dolezal, 22, came to visit her from Montana, where their parents live. His adopted sister was on her way to becoming one of the most prominent faces in Spokane's black community.

"She told me not to blow her cover about the fact that she had this secret life or alternate identity," Ezra Dolezal said Saturday. "She told me not to tell anybody about Montana or her family over there. She said she was starting a new life ... and this one person over there was actually going to be her black father," said Ezra Dolezal to CNN on June 14.

Erza Dolezal, who is African-American and Caucasian and the adopted Brother of Rachel, described exactly what he believes was his Sister's true intention in the ruse.

"There was the gradual darkening of the skin and the hair," he said. "She started molding herself into who she is today," Erza Dolezal said to CNN.

He said Dolezal's transformation was tantamount to living in "blackface."

"It's kind of a slap in the face to African-Americans because she doesn't know what it's like to be black," said Ezra Dolezal, whose biological mother was white and father half-black. "She's only been African-American when it benefited her. She hasn't been through all the struggles. She's only been African-American the last few years."

I watched Megyn Kelly’s Fox News interview with Jim-Bob and Michelle Duggar last night.

By the end of it, I felt so angry and nauseated by this pair of dangerous, deluded imbeciles that I wanted to smash my television into smithereens with a pickaxe just to rid myself of their sanctimonious, hypocritical faces.

It was one of the most invidious, repulsive, exercises in brand-protecting bulls**t that I’ve ever had the misfortune to experience.

Their show, which I sincerely hope never gets aired again, is called 19 Kids and Counting.

I’d like to amend that title to 19 Disgusting Things About The Duggars….and Counting.

Here’s why:

1) Their son Josh was a serial child abuser, yet they don’t seem to even realise this salient fact. ‘He was so young,’ they wailed, ‘he’d just turned 14’…. ‘he was so young’…etc, vomit-makingly etc. Here’s the only fact that matters: Josh Duggar sexually molested FOUR of his own young sisters, one as young as 5, and a baby-sitter.

2) They didn’t report him to anyone for 16 months after he first confessed. That’s not them being ‘failed parents’ as they would have us believe. That’s being an accessory to covering up a crime.

3) When they finally did tell someone in authority, it was to a state trooper who did nothing about it and is now languishing in prison on child pornography charges. You couldn’t make that up.

4) The Duggars seem more upset that we now all know about Josh’s disgraceful activities than about the activities themselves. Their doe-eyed exclamations of self-pity were utterly disingenuous.

5) They claim none of the victims knew they were being abused, which is obviously palpable nonsense given that some were awake when it happened. The reality is their parents conned them into thinking the abuse wasn’t as bad as it was. Just as they have, for years, conned them into thinking their weird, twisted, religiously zealous, goody-two-shoes lifestyle is ‘normal’ too.

6) Jim-Bob insisted his son wasn’t a pedophile because he was only 14 and 15 when the abuse occurred. ‘He was a child preying on a child’, he said, as if that makes any real difference.

7) They downplayed the abuse by saying it only lasted ‘seconds’ as if this, too, makes it any less appalling. Abuse is abuse is abuse. The time period is irrelevant.

8) They made this assertion: ‘Similar things happen in other families’. Really? I’m struggling to think of a single other family where a serial child molester has not only got away with his crimes thanks to his parents’ deceit, but has then been made a TV star by the same parents in a show extolling the virtues of family values.

Ickes, a longtime ally of Hillary Rodham Clinton, has helped organize private meetings around the country with union leaders, Clinton backers and Democratic strategists. The pressing topic: Who will step up to be the Democrats’ megadonors in the 2016 presidential race?

Republican contenders have already secured hundreds of millions of dollars in commitments from a stable of billionaires, including a Wall Street hedge fund executive, a Las Vegas casino magnate, a Florida auto dealer, a Wyoming investor and, of course, the Kansas-born billionaires David H. and Charles G. Koch. But none of the biggest Democratic donors from past elections — for example, the Chicago investor Fred Eychaner, the climate-change activist Tom Steyer and the entertainment mogul Jeffrey Katzenberg — have committed to supporting Mrs. Clinton on nearly the same scale.

“No one has stepped forward as the savior,” said Matt Bennett, a longtime Democratic consultant in Washington.

The leading super PAC backing Mrs. Clinton, Priorities USA Action, has won commitments of only about $15 million so far, Democrats involved with the group’s fund-raising said. And while the absence of a competitive race for the Democratic nomination gives Mrs. Clinton more time to catch up with Republican rivals, her allies are planning to push the party’s wealthiest donors for more money than most of them have ever given.

In planning sessions and one-on-one meetings with donors, Mr. Ickes, who is a Priorities USA board member, and other Clinton supporters are discussing how to raise as much as $300 million for Democratic outside groups. That is almost twice as much as Democratic super PACs and other outside groups spent to help re-elect President Obama in 2012, when conservative super PACs far outspent liberal ones.

This ambitious goal will require the emergence of a new class of at least 20 Democratic donors who can give $5 million or even $10 million each. Mr. Ickes said recruiting them would not be easy.

“Our side isn’t used to being asked for that kind of money,” Mr. Ickes said. “If you asked them to put up $100 million for a hospital wing, they’d be the first in line.”

The hurdles begin with the candidate. While Mrs. Clinton has committed to meeting personally with potential super PAC donors, people close to her say she has not yet grappled with the kind of big-donor courting that has framed the early months of the Republican race."
