Danny DeVito gets into detail about his endorsement of Bernie Sanders: "Enough of this Crap!!"
The Daily Beast has an article on Danny DeVito where he talks about his new role and his wild times with George Clooney. He also talks about how he is Feeling the Bern in a massive way and thinks Donald Trump is disgusting.
Check out the article, Danny is funny and oh so passionate about Bernie:
Im into Bernie Sanders. I think Bernie Sanders is somebody that we really have to focus onespecially now, he says. Whether or not the money buys the other contenders, we still have to stay together on Bernie because Bernies got the goods.
He really knows what hes talking about and hes got all the issues down. He gets all these little donations because he doesnt want to be beholden to anybody. Bernie will give us the best shot at getting equality for men and women, African Americans, and all people of color; hell give us the best shot at healthcare; hell give us the best shot at the international situation so that we dont start blowing things up, and to try to pull back a bit on the Imperialism. We need to pull back on it. We cant keep dealing with regime change and all this shit! You guysthe young peoplehave to look at this and say, Enough of this crap!
He adds, I think a lot of people are starting to Feel the Bernthats a funny saying, but people are starting to feel the heat and the responsibility that we all have to at least give the planet a shot. We want to try to keep the Earth in a stable position for our grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
TOT: totally off topic: but priceless

State Department seeks 1-month extension on Clinton emails
(might screw up her chances at the Primaries if they released it sooner)
WASHINGTON The State Department asked a federal court Friday for a one-month extension to publish the last of Hillary Clintons emails during her time as secretary of state, citing a complex review of some messages across different agencies of the government.
State Department spokesman Mark Toner said the department wouldnt be able to meet its court-mandated goal of Jan. 29. About 9,400 of 55,000 pages are left, but Toner said those remaining contain a large amount of material that required interagency review.
The department will make public as many as possible next week, he said, but is asking for the final deadline to be pushed back until Feb. 29.
State Department staff have been working extremely hard to process these emails, and we are committed to getting them out, Toner said. The courts goal for this months production represented the largest number of pages to date. The remaining emails are also the most complex to process.

Hillary Clinton Defends Speaking Fees Paid by Wall Street Firms
Hillary Clinton defended her paid speeches to Wall Street firms, rejecting the idea that the millions of dollars she earned in fees would sway her views on financial firms.
On the heels of repeated attacks from Senator Bernie Sanders, who has seized on the fees to portray Mrs. Clinton as out of touch with ordinary Iowans and other voters, Mrs. Clinton gave an interview this week in Iowa to The Des Moines Register, saying she had no regrets. Anybody who thinks they can buy me doesnt know me, Mrs. Clinton said, in the article published Friday.
She described her paid speaking which spanned events for financial firms and a number of other trade associations and businesses, which typically paid fees of around $225,000 per speech as a chance for business leaders to hear about her views on world events.
What they were interested in were my views on what was going on in the world, Mrs. Clinton said. And whether youre in health care, or you sell automobiles, or youre in banking theres a lot of interest in getting advice and views about what you think is happening in the world.

Dancing In The Street: New Orleans Throws A Memorial Parade For David Bowie
Mardi Gras was still close to three weeks away. But on Saturday afternoon, Jan. 16, the French Quarter was gridlocked with costumed frolickers, a massive, glittery throng radiating out through the narrow streets from the historic traditional-jazz venue Preservation Hall. The occasion? A parade in memory of David Bowie, led by the Preservation Hall Jazz Band.
It's not a stretch to imagine that Bowie fandom would be rampant in a city for which flamboyant, gender-ambivalent dressing up, not to mention music, is a way of life. That, combined with a perfectly warm and sunny afternoon, the beginning of the Carnival season and, certainly, interest in the parade's co-hosts Win Butler and Regine Chassagne of Arcade Fire, who have lived in New Orleans for about two years, drew multiple thousands of fans downtown so many that the blocks outside the hall and the parade's end point, the rock club One Eyed Jacks, were almost impassable. The band, led by Butler, who sang through a small red megaphone, and Chassagne, who played a keytar, left Preservation Hall and gamely shoved its way through the mass toward the Mississippi River and then back, along a route about a half-dozen blocks long, playing Bowie songs arranged for parading brass.
Bowie was an ardent fan of Arcade Fire. In 2005, they recorded a live EP together; eight years later, he contributed backing vocals to the band's album Reflektor. Standing on Preservation Hall's balcony with Chassagne and Ben Jaffe, the hall's creative director, Butler spoke briefly about the shock of his friend's death. "It felt like a planet exploded," he said. He opened a bottle of wine and poured a splash onto the crowd.

Why Wall Street Gives Millions to Hillary (As a Former Goldman Sachs Banker,
I Say Bernie Has It Right)Raghuram Rajan, now the head of India's central bank, once wrote an academic paper blaming the financial crisis on poor people. Just yesterday, Bill Clinton placed blame for the crisis on our government. Anyone who has seen the Oscar-winning documentary Inside Job knows full well that the crisis was caused by our banks.
Banks lent trillions of dollars to home buyers on too loose of terms knowing that they could turn the resulting junk mortgages into AAA securities through the alchemy of CDOs and securitization and thus generate hundreds of billions of profit and leave the resulting mortgage mess to their investing clients.
But the financial crisis is behind us, right? Why would Wall Street shower Hillary Clinton with millions of dollars in speaking fees and tens of millions in campaign contributions?
I think it is an insurance policy. Wall Street wants a friend in the White House to protect the status quo, and if they can't get a Republican elected, Hillary is the next best thing. I think they need a friend in government because the industry could not survive an investigation into how they actually make their profits.

Oregon militants LaVoy Finicum and Ryan Bundy travel to Utah to plot another armed showdown
Two of the Oregon militants have been traveling out of state to meet with other groups who want the federal government to hand over public land to their control.
LaVoy Finicum said he left the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge last week and drove to Utah with one of the other armed militants, reported OPB.
He later identified his travel companion as Ryan Bundy, and he claimed they met with county officials eager to engage in a similar standoff with federal authorities over public land ownership.
Finicum said the occupied visitors center, which the militants have renamed the Harney County Resource Center, was a symbolic victory and inspiration to other anti-government extremists.
