Watch President Clinton Deliver Nomination Address at the DNC

Former President Bill Clinton spoke Wednesday night at the Democratic National Convention, tackling many of the issues President Barack Obama has faced in his presidency and addressing Republican counterpoints.

"President Obama's plan cuts the debt, honors our values, and brightens the future for our children, Our families and our nation. It's a heck out a lot better. It passes the arithmetic test - and far more important, it passes the values test."

He looked to be in radiant health that evening. He spoke to many good things being done. He is likely with his wife Hillary tonight and I hope she will get well soon.

Democrats condemn GOP's plot to obstruct Obama as 'appalling and sad'

Roger Draper book details how in 2009 senior Republican figures planned a campaign to bring Washington to a standstill

Democrats have rounded on revelations about a private dinner of House Republicans on inauguration day in 2009 in which they plotted a campaign of obstruction against newly installed president Barack Obama.

...The 15 Republicans were in a sombre mood as they gathered at the Caucus Room in Washington, an upscale restaurant where a New York strip steak costs $51.

Attending the dinner were House members Eric Cantor, Jeb Hensarling, Pete Hoekstra, Dan Lungren, Kevin McCarthy, Paul Ryan and Pete Sessions. From the Senate were Tom Coburn, Bob Corker, Jim DeMint, John Ensign and Jon Kyl. Others present were former House Speaker and future – and failed – presidential candidate Newt Gingrich and the Republican strategist Frank Luntz, who organised the dinner and sent out the invitations.

Sometimes this is the only way to lock the perps up. If their victim is disabled, unable to testify,

the search for online child pornography are all the law has left to go after them. The victim is not believed until the video is shown. The abuse of some victims is horrific and not just sexual. They never recover cognitively or emotionally. If there were no detectives willing to wade in this sewer, the perps will get away with it.
