one_voice's JournalBernie Sanders holds rally at Wilmington's Riverfront
Sanders, a U.S. Senator from Vermont, is set to speak at the Riverfront later this afternoon and supporters from around the mid-Atlantic are eager to rally support ahead of Tuesday's Delaware primary.
"When I heard he was coming to Wilmington I was sitting in class and almost peed my pants I am so excited," said Alexis Gibbs, a 20-year-old student at Delaware Technical Community College. "I believe in him because he is not like others on T.V. He is not taking money from (super PACS). He is the embodiment of his campaign."
"Every candidate has their priorities. He is talking about the problems of everyday people like tuition and the cost of healthcare," Hoy said. "It is just interesting to be around people who are passionate about this process." Jason Hoy, a math teacher from Marlton, New Jersey, was grading papers in the packed Chase Center atrium early Saturday morning. He said he drove to Wilmington to support a candidate he feels is focusing on the right issues, particularly his own student loan debt
Many in the contingent of Sanders supporters packed inside the center's main lobby were young. Some are even too young to vote but wanted to be a part of the process. Gaige Lenhardt, 17 of Pike Creek, said Sanders' style resonates with him.

Bernie & Hillary are coming to Delaware...
The Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders presidential campaigns each announced Friday the candidates will be appearing in Delaware in advance of the Tuesday primary.
Sanders, a U.S. senator from Vermont, will hold a rally at The Chase Center on the Riverfront, 815 Justin St., at 1 p.m Saturday, it was announced Friday morning.
The Clinton campaign late Friday announced she will hold a rally at the World Cafe Live at the Queen, 500 N. Market St, at 11:15 a.m. Monday.
Both events are free and open to the public.
Hirak Mukhopadhyaya, president of the University of Delaware College Democrats, said that the competitive nature of the of the national race has likely convinced the candidates to visit Delaware a rare move for presidential contenders at this stage in the primary.

This is so cool. I still don't know who I'm voting for and Tuesday is right around the corner. My husband laughs at me when I watch debates and tells me I'm in big trouble.
He's camp Hillary. My mom in Bernie, my dad is Hillary. My kids are undecided. One used to be Hillary and one Bernie, but they've flipped to undecided.
I think I will decided in the booth.
There are things I like about both candidates. Things I dislike. I don't think either are as awful and horrifying as either camp makes them out to me. That'll probably get me in some trouble. I've donated to both. And will vote for the eventual nominee.
Can't wait for Tuesday so the pressure is off.
I cannot wrap my head around this...
WILMINGTON, Del. (WPVI) --
A 16-year-old student has died after she was assaulted by several other students inside a high school bathroom in Wilmington, Delaware.
It happened at the Howard High School of Technology in the 400 block of East 12th Street on Thursday morning.
The name of the girl, who was a sophomore, has not been released.
No charges have been announced. Two girls and several witnesses are at the Wilmington Police Department being interviewed by detectives.
*snip*
The Action Cam was outside the school as medics performed CPR on the victim, who was taken on a stretcher to a waiting state police helicopter.
She was airlifted to A.I. duPont Hospital for Children, where she was pronounced dead.
*snip*
Students at the school told Action News reporter Chad Pradelli that the fight was over a boy, and that the girl was fighting with another girl in a bathroom when she was jumped.
Kayla Wilson says she was in a stall when the fight broke out.
"She was fighting a girl, and then that's when all these other girls started banking her -like jumping her - and she hit her head on the sink," Wilson said.

I have a friend whose daughter goes to school with the young lady that was beaten to death. How does something like this happen in our schools? I don't understand. I've been so upset all day over this.
My son posted this today on his fb..
he's 25. Said he started feeling that way in about 8th grade. His friends started commenting saying they felt that way too. WTF. Our kids are going to school waiting for something tragic to happen. This has become the norm for them.
Something has to be done. I just can't wrap my head around the fact that a child was beaten to death in a dirty bathroom at school and no one helped her. It's braking my heart and infuriating at the same time.
I just saw Bernie Sanders
mic drop on Larry Wilmore's show.
It was good. Really good.
Dr. Paul Song...
married to Lisa Ling, whose sister, Laura was tried and convicted in North Korea. Bill Clinton went and negotiated her pardon/release. Dr. Paul Song spoke at Bernie Sanders rally tonight against Hillary Clinton & Democrats he thought were sell outs.
...six degrees and shit. Or full circle, Or something....
edited to be more specific.
Do you think the superdelegates
of a state should go with the candidate the state voted for?
Example: I live in Delaware. I think the my state should go with whoever wins our primary. I think that's only fair. That's what the people of the state voted for.
Is that too simple? Is it more complex than that? I honestly don't know.
edited to add another option to the poll--option 4

Couple Accidentally Texts Strangers About Newborn, Strangers Show Up to Congratulate Them
at HospitalA texting mix-up over a newborn resulted in a heartwarming moment between strangers.
Tallahassee, Florida, man Dennis Williams received a group text on Saturday, March 19, informing him that a couple was having a baby.
"We are at the hospital. Having a baby today!" the text read, followed by, "She has dilated to between 5-6."
"Congrats lol but I think someone got the wrong number," Dennis wrote back after he and his brother Deorick Williams read the message
But that text went unheeded, and soon enough, the pair received a picture of the newborn, to which Dennis responded, "Well I don't know y'all but me and the boys will be thru to take picture with the baby."
*snip*
The family, Lindsey and Mark Knox and their newborn son Cason, later posted on Facebook about the whole thing themselves, writing, "What a blessing these two guys were to our family. They were so sweet and kind to do this! You 2 are great guys and thank you for giving to someone you didn't know! If we all only had this kind of a heart."
