I have a job, if I pass the drug test (always worried about my prescription for vicodin). Will start Tuesday, driving seniors to various places. Pay $8.75 an hour and no benefits. Last job I had the pay was over $50,000 per year. I can't find anything, I get no interviews for anything even half of what I once made.

I don't qualify for Medicaid, but I did qualify today for food stamps, $200 a month retroactive to October 5. Well with a bit of help from Mom I will be able to pay the mortgage and few other bills, until the money comes in regularly. I will also have to start paying back my student loan. That payment will be based upon my income, so that won't be too bad.

Let's just hope the drug test is okay.

I have finally been able to complete my application at healthcare.gov. For my income for 2014 (projected) I filed for $8,000. This is based on my maybe, just maybe finding employment.

So, with the app filed, with $0 help from the government, my silver plan will be $486 a month. $5382 a year, WTF.

Now the UN is involved and will give me $500,000 because I've been scammed before. Got to love it.

I can't get a job, let alone an interview. I filled out a 10 page application last week for a $10 an hour job, they won't hire me because I'm too educated. I went up to the local hospital today (supposedly their shuttle/van drivers are in need of extras). The hospital won't take a paper app & you can only apply for what's posted on line. No van driver positions listed on line.

I send out 40-50 resumes to posted positions weekly, no contact after that with hiring company. I just can't stand it any more. This is 3 years of unemployment. I'm down to my last $200 in the bank, I've got 3 brothers who don't even fucking care, they're all employed. One retired and employed.

I can't stand it anymore.

My brother works at a large beer distribution warehouse. He said, "this is pretty bad to do this to a guy, when the business is in the business of selling a highly addictive substance". They even get an employee discount on the product.

She had cataract surgery a year ago. She stopped reading because she said her eyes got heavy and tired. This past summer I enrolled her in the Library's summer reading program. You had to meet your stated goal of books to read, in her case 3 and if you read those books you got a free book from the Library. She got a free book.

Within the past 4 weeks she has outdone her summer goal of 3, by reading 4 and she started her 5th this morning. I get her large print which seems easier for her. There is a TV show on the Hallmark Movie Channel, called "Cedar Cove", which she thoroughly enjoys. When I went to the library I found the series of Cedar Cove books in large print. I brought one home not knowing if she'd like it(Mom's usual genre is murder mysteries). She did like it and started a thriller I brought this morning.

I am so glad she's reading again.

Has anyone received an email from Adobe Acrobat urging you to change your password due to a security breach. I am always a bit leery about these types of emails.
