today I answered it with humor.
I was stalled in traffic, there was an appliance delivery van, traveling in the opposite direction and stalled. I noticed the driver looked exhausted & tired on a Friday afternoon. I nodded in his direction, to say hello. A few seconds later he rolled down his window and said
"Miss, want to meet me in the alley for the delivery of a new appliance" without skipping a beat I responded "depends on how big that new johnny rocket model is". He looked stunned and then just started laughing as did his co-driver. He then nodded to me & said "touche".
You know, I normally would have responded to his words, with a fuck you, or giving him the middle finger, but somehow today, I was able to put him in his place with laughter.
And I felt okay after this interaction.

In my district, as far as I can tell Representative Tim Murphy(R-PA) unfortunately will keep his seat. The opponent Maggi is putting up a good fight, but I don't know.
Senator Bob Casey(D-PA), will in probability keep his seat. The opponent Tom Smith, is a teabagger from the beginning. There are ads that show Smith having had 500 injuries and 2000 complaints against the coal mines he owned. There is also video of him stating he had started a teabag party in his county.
i constantly email Murphy when he says/does something tha I totally disagree with. I always receive a well thought out reponse composed by his staff within a few days.
Senator Casey I emailed once, I forget why, but I know I was in disagreement. It took 3 weeks before I got any response.

My brother is retiring from the Post Office in the middle of December. He was eligible for full retirement at that time due to his age, 60.
What really enticed him to retire was the monetary buy-out that was offered to him. This offer was made to thousands of Postal Service employees and those who accept, will be retiring in December.
Now what the Post Office has done, will have a great impact on services during the Holiday Season, because they do not have the time to train or allow other employees to bid on routes and clerk positions at Post Offices.
What the Post Office should have done was offer the buy-out 3 or 4 months ago so there would not be this great upheaval during December.
So when you go to the Post Office during the season with your packages and mail and you wait in a long line, or you don't get your mail till very late in the afternoon, don't get mad at the letter carrier or clerk. Just remember how stupid management is.
