I had a Dream

Took a nap and had a dream.

A politician tells a lie and their tongue falls off.
A politician takes a bribe and their hands fall off.
A politician works to take a woman's reproductive rights away
and their reproductive parts either fall off or stops functioning.
A politician comes out with a stupid bill or votes for one and their brain turns to jello.
A wealthy person tries to buy an election or a politician and they find themselves living under a cardboard box.

It was a pleasant dream, it was a better world. One has to have hope and dreams.

Pope Benedict: Church Must Stand Against "Intolerant Agnosticism"

By Philip Pullella

VATICAN CITY, Jan 6 (Reuters) - Pope Benedict said on Sunday that Roman Catholic leaders must have the courage to stand up to attacks by "intolerant agnosticism" prevalent in many countries.

The pope and the Church have come under increased attack because of their opposition to homosexual marriage and women priests. The pope has repeatedly denounced what he says are attempts to push religion out of public debate.

"Anyone who lives and proclaims the faith of the Church is on many points out of step with the prevalent way of thinking," he said. "The approval of the prevailing wisdom, however, is not the criterion to which we submit."

"Today's regnant agnosticism has its own dogmas and is extremely intolerant regarding anything that would question it and the criteria it employs," the pope said.

Civilization begins

Civilization begins when the strong finally realize they have a duty to protect the weak. That duty is the foundation of civilization, the bedrock on which everything else rests.

Everyone needs to call all their Congressional offices

I am getting real sick of hearing about how this country needs to protect all the 'job creators'

If these 'job creators' are so important and they need special protections then each congressional office should have a very detailed list of them. Demand that your reps and senators send you a list of these important people within their district or within the state. If they do not have a list then they really can not be that important.

If you do happen to get a list then you can go to them and demand that they create a job for you at the wage that would make you non-lazy, a taxpayer, and give you a living wage.

I do not think this is too much to ask for because they have had 30 years to create all of these jobs. At the very least they have had the last ten years.

So call and tell them you need a job and they will set you up with one on Monday.
