Amish man sues to buy firearm without photo ID in gun rights, religious freedom lawsuit
"In a suit that brings together the Second Amendment and the Religious Freedom Restoration Act (RFRA), an Amish man filed a federal lawsuit in Pennsylvania last week because he wants to buy a gun without the required photo ID and because getting that photo ID would violate his religious beliefs.
Andrew Hertzler, according to the suit, is from Lancaster County, Pa., and is an active and practicing member of the community; his parents, grandparents, and siblings are all active and practicing Amish; and he has a sincerely held religious belief that prevents him from knowingly and willingly having his photograph taken and stored.

Slavery around the world
I just watched a piece on the news about a Jewish man help out girls that were sold into slavery by ISIS. How many countries still allow this barbaric awful act? Why do we do business with them, shouldn't we demand that slavery ends with any country we do business with or help out?

The Court used Section 1 of the Fourteen Amendment to justify their argument, which reads:
Amendment XIV
Section 1.
"All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the state wherein they reside. No state shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any state deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws."
By using the Constitution in such a manner, the Court argues that the Due Process Clause extends certain personal choices central to individual dignity and autonomy accepted in a majority of states across the state lines of a handful of states that still banned the practice.
The vast majority of states are shall issue on the matter of issuing concealed carry permits, and enjoy reciprocity with a large number of other states.

Obama Care and young people under 26 years of age
My understanding is that young people under 26 are covered under their parents insurance. What if their parents don't have insurance? Are their children covered somehow else?

Women and combat roles
If I understand it correctly women are free to go into combat roles in our US Military. Now I wonder if the government will make them register with the selective service when they turn 18.
