Definitely. Any Republicans denouncing Trump after the Impeachment hearing

was too late. Labor Day was too late. Columbus Day is too late.

In fact, this goes way back. Peter Strzok points out how early the DOJ was contaminated by spinelessness and apologists. I'm worried people will forget about what a simpering weasel Rod Rosenstein was, because at first glance he's nowhere near as bad as Bill Barr. I expect Rosenstein to write a book proclaiming his blamelessness. Hokum.

Agree.

Furthermore, I don't feel these numbers are out of line with what they are providing. And they are the providers, so their companies will produce product and get paid for it.

Just like Hawkfish produced Bloomberg's ads and did all the data analytics and numbers crunching (which, by the way, he shared with the DNC and American Bridges PAC).

When I donate to TLP that is what I'm donating for: For them to use their experience, yes their companies, to help us win this election. I'm not donating so that they can hire other people who can't do what they can do. In essence, donors are hiring them to do exactly what they are doing.

I've donated to TLP several times and I have not one regret. It was money well spent.

I don't doubt that Trump will make an ass of himself and that's fine

But it's NBC's judgment to reward Trump for ducking the debate and to position it directly opposing Joe Biden's appearance that IMO is unforgivable.

Secondly, Trump won't just be on NBC: He'll be on NBC, MSNBC, CNBC, NBC YouTube and NBC's Telemundo channel, whereas Joe will only be on ABC. So when it comes to ratings (nowadays including viewings), Trump has a fivefold advantage not afforded Joe Biden.

I'm curious about this too. I sometimes wonder if America is producing more

sociopaths and, if so, why? Is it cultural or is it our poisoned air, water and food and other chemicals in the environment? It used to be said that about 3% of the population was sociopathic, but look just at the Trump administration. The number seems awfully high nowadays.

This is a disgusting crime.

After almost 35 years, excavators installing a pipeline discovered human remains at 4:50 PM on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 near the intersection of county roads 34.5 and 49, at coordinates 40.239848°N 104.602514°W, about 15 mi (24 km) southeast of Jonelle's home. Based on DNA evidence, the Weld County Coroner’s Office positively identified the remains as being Jonelle Matthews.[15][16] As of July 29, 2019 the Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has not released any information about how Matthews' cause of death, but have stated that the case is being treated as a homicide. Authorities are searching historical records to determine who owned or lived on the land where the remains were found.[17]

On September 13, 2019, Greeley Police Department announced a "person of interest" in Jonelle Matthews' abduction and murder: Steve Pankey, a former Greely resident who ran for governor in Idaho in 2014 and 2018, and for lieutenant governor in 2010. His home in Colorado was searched under a warrant that stated investigators had probable cause to believe that Pankey abducted and murdered the girl that night. Pankey and his former wife lived only 2 miles away from the Matthews home where Jonelle was last seen. Pankey had also been a youth pastor at the church the Matthews family attended. Greeley Police Commander Roy Smith stated that Pankey “had made repeated efforts to speak with detectives” about the Matthews case. But after detectives traveled to Twin Falls, Idaho on August 15, 2019, Pankey refused to answer questions. Commander Smith stated Pankey has not been charged with Jonelle’s murder, but he is being investigated in relation to her death.[18][19]

Not knowing motive (but I can venture an educated guess), it might be reasonable to suggest that authorities look into other cold cases involving children in this age group in the area, and elsewhere that Pankey lived, since in cases of crimes like this, there are often others. Somebody doesn't just wake up one morning and decide to commit a crime like this for the first time. Usually there are prior indications and subsequent attempts.

Seth Abramson tweet from yesterday:

TEXT: THE NEW YORK TIMES (roughly): "We think it's important that you all understand that the President of the United States doesn't owe hundreds of millions of dollars to the *Kremlin*, he owes hundreds of millions of dollars to the bank that *launders money* for the Kremlin. Sheesh!"

I think some publications, including the NYT and AXIOS, are getting cold feet about Trump going away because he's been so good for subscriptions, clicks and ratings. They are lightly pushing conspiracy theories, pointing out Biden's faults, getting back to business as usual, and forgetting that our Democracy is in peril. I'm disconnecting from MSM for the most part, reading my news here, following worthwhile links, and waiting for Election Day.

It is like saying, "I am an ineffectual human being. I'm a failure at everything.

I can't convince you with my arguments, I can barely even take care of myself or meet my own needs. So I need this giant gun to scare you so that you are afraid to tell me the truth about myself."

He never wanted a repeat of this:

CALLER: And Rush you never mentioned how you dodged the Vietnam draft.

LIMBAUGH: I didn’t.

CALLER: Yes, you did. You claimed you had a boil on your butt …

LIMBAUGH: No, you see, that’s part of popular mythology that is out there that I have not whined nor complained about, Greg. But that is just a bunch of internet BS and hyperbole. Never happened. Was not the cause, wasn’t the case.

That was the phone call that changed the Rush Limbaugh Program's call-in protocol forever, I'm guessing.

My theory from a few months back is that, finances permitting, the Trumps

will buy a controlling share of the OANN (One America News Network) and Trump, and maybe some of his kids, will have talk shows on there that very few people will watch, and that the MSM will not cover. Even Fox will ignore him because OANN is a competitor.

He will huff and puff himself into obscurity.

He's also the medical director of Doctor Radio on SiriusXM.

As a listener to Doctor Radio, I used to think he was quite credible, but my opinion of him sagged after a series of programs he hosted on COVID.

There are some very good programs on Doctor Radio, but the programs hosted by Siegel are sometimes questionable. He has never given quack advice, but I have never heard him criticize this administration for incompetence. He has also interviewed and said glowing things about Alex Azar.

He once interviewed Dr. Fauci (and it was a good interview) but then turned around and totally mischaracterized what Fauci had said, painting Fauci as optimistic when he had been anything but.

Doctor Radio is broadcast live from Langone medical center. Siegel is the only doctor I have issues with. He is credentialed and qualified, but he's intellectually dishonest and biased towards Trump.

Dr. Siegel is Doctor Radio’s Medical Director and a Clinical Professor in the Department of Medicine at NYU Langone Health. He is a prolific writer and Medical Correspondent and a frequent columnist for various publications including the Los Angeles Times and Forbes Online.
