Computer Technician Arrested Following Panama Papers Leak

Source: Forbes

Officials in Geneva have arrested a computer technician who worked for Mossack Fonseca, the Panamanian law firm tied to one of the largest whistleblower data leaks in history. The unnamed IT worker at the law firm’s Geneva office allegedly “brought out a large volume of confidential data” from Mossack Fonseca, according to Swiss newspape

Süddeutsche Zeitung reporter Bastian Obermayer, who spearheaded the Panama Papers investigation, tweeted: “According to our information the #mossackfonseca IT person arrested in Geneva is not #panamapapers” source “ John Doe.””

Harvard & Stanford Reviews Document Media/Vote Bias Against Bernie

Fitting for the last day of freedom is a discussion about the main stream media bias and vote irregularities that always pounced upon Senator Bernie Sanders efforts, via the Democratic Primary, in the hopes of becoming President of the United States; because Harvard University ftound extreme media bias and Stanford found empirical evidences of anamolies bias, during the 2016 Democratic Primary, against Bernie Sanders.

Even if, arguendo, you are always for Hillary, these findings should upset you.

Harvard Study Confirms
Media Coverage of the Primaries
Was Awful

The perception of the Clinton vs. Sanders race created by the media’s earliest coverage generated an aura of inevitability for Hillary Clinton and encouraged a dismissive attitude toward Sanders despite his early mega-rallies on the West Coast and huge advantage with small-dollar donations.

The Shorenstein Center’s study should vindicate supporters of Bernie Sanders and non-Trump Republican candidates alike, as it proves the media’s inherent bias in covering the billionaire real estate developer and the former Secretary of State for the purpose of driving ad revenue and clicks rather than for the purpose of informing the public.

Their June 7, 2016 paper (Here) is titled "Are we witnessing a dishonest election" and it poses the question by "A between state comparison based on the used voting procedures of the 2016 Democratic Party Primary for the Presidency of the United States of America".

Quotes at top of the discussion paper:

“You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you
cannot fool all of the people all of the time.” Abraham Lincoln

“No one has yet figured out a straightforward method of ensuring that one of the most revered democratic institutions – in this case, electing a U.S. president – can be double checked for fraud, particularly when paperless evoting systems are used.” Larry Greenemeier, Scientific American

Conclusion

Are we witnessing a dishonest election? Our first analysis showed that states wherein the voting outcomes are difficult to verify show far greater support for Secretary Clinton. Second, our examination of exit polling suggested large differences between the respondents that took the exit polls and the claimed voters in the final tally. Beyond these points, these irregular patterns of results did not exist in 2008. As such, as a whole, these data suggest that election fraud is occurring in the 2016 Democratic Party Presidential Primary election.

And the last sentence of the paragraph makes a very disturbing conclusion that:

This fraud has overwhelmingly benefited Secretary Clinton at the expense of Senator Sanders.

I'm unfamiliar with the Netherlands University and the Stanford Professor; but they bright line what we've all discussed.

As for me, I'm Bern or Bust and must bridle my tongue, or be bojo'd

(fret not Laser haters, I am who I am and my bags are already packed)

As for the rest of you, let the banter wars - for the last day that they may - B E G I N

Oppression is..as oppression does

Bullies delight in might makes right
Tis now to fear the dawn of silent night

Cannot bear the fear to tread
Can you see democracy is now dead

Life will carry on, despite
Your haughty spurn of goodbye or goodnight

Games of throwns will still be playin

And that's all I'm......

Bern or Bust Movement FOREVER. HRC took money

From Goldman Sachs...who deliberately destroyed our eToys public company...along with my career

And people died

Never Hillary....NEVER

Romney can't run while I'm alive: He'd win otherwise

Most tend to not know what to believe about my suing Goldman Sachs and Bain Capital, for Racketeering; because no one is willing to do a ( proper ) legal analysis of the HAAS v ROMNEY Racketeering ...case.

But Mitt Romney knows he is exposed

[br]
[br]

How Romney Would Win Presidency

It really is rather simple. Back in January 2015, Mitt Romney started to explore running...again; and he was slapped down by reporters at Crooks and Liars story Romney Slapped Racketeering along with Fire Dog Lake (now called ShadowProof) item Unending eToys Bankruptcy doing re-reports of my suing Mitt Romney and partners, for racketeering of our eToys related cases.

They started to go viral...so Mitt...QUIT!

Meanwhile, you have a serious man, with a serious desire, who spoke of his vision dream, of riding a white horse into the White House...

Where the press would snap pictures of the horse chits.

Ever since 2012, I've been telling everyone, including multiple threads here, of the fact that - Mitt Romney is coming - in 2016.

Romney keeps on trying to find a way; but I'm still here.

If I were not, if me and our eToys federal cases were wiped off the face if the earth, along with the dozen or so reporters who have all my evidences (including Taibbi)

Then Mitt could run and win

Here's how Romney can win

All Mitt Romney has to do, to stop Hillary, is win enough votes, in states he now controls (like Michigan), to make sure that Hillary doesn't get enough Electoral Votes.

Then...guess..who gets to pick our 2017 Presdident?

Congress.....that's who.

It would be close to an outright civil war, between the factions; and Karl Rove's gang would be waiting in the wings, to ram Mitt diwn our throats.

Wouldn't be a dam thing we could do about it.

Sound familar?

Just sayin..........
[br]
[br]

Shouldn't picking POTUS be about character

Either your character is exemplary...or it isn't.

It really is that simple.

[br]
[br]

I didn't expect debates on the meaning of the word character; and provide this item ..for clarity's sake.

Gawker Files Bankruptcy After Losing Hulk Hogan Litigation

Source: Talking Points Memo

The company that publishes Gawker filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in the Southern District of New York on Friday.

The largest creditor listed in the bankruptcy filing is Terry Bollea, otherwise known as wrestler Hulk Hogan, whose claim is listed as $130 million.

Gawker Media LLC was financially devastated after losing a $140 million invasion-of-privacy suit to Hogan in May over a sex tape the site published. Hogan since launched another suit, charging that Gawker leaked sealed court documents in which he is quoted making racist remarks.

In late May, major Silicon Valley investor Peter Thiel confirmed rumors that he had funded both suits against the site for “bullying” him and outing him as gay in a 2007 post.

The AP stunt was a well planned..successful...OP

Because they knew Bernie was going to win California.

The beltway..Wall Street ..the DNC ...the Frack poison water profitably alliances and Military industrial complex all consider Bernie to be a major threat to their status quo...including the jammed down our throats TPP

In doing the AP "making" news...instead of "reporting" news...a foundation was laid to justify the upending of Bernie's real numbers...by counting mail in Hillary ballots and leaving uncounteds.....Uncounted

As for me...I just watch my only chance for a decent U.S. Attorney General....get permanently thumped.

I'm more depressed now...than I've ever been...since the day my daughter was abducted...in 2004

Hope no longer springs eternal

Rage has been borne..anew

Nobody is talking about Super D's commitment before Bernie

Entered into the race.

The fact that ...purported...not one has switched

Means the "fix" was "in" ..always

57,000 BLM Supporters Vow Packing Court Jasmine Richards Sentencing

Source: Pasadena Now News

Supporters of Black Lives Matter Pasadena organizer Jasmine Richards plan to pack the Los Angeles Superior Courtroom in Pasadena Tuesday during Richards’ sentencing after she was convicted last Thursday of the felony charge of attempting to unlawfully remove a suspect from police officers, formerly known as “felony lynching.”

The conviction carries a maximum sentence of four years in prison. Richards’ supporters say the charge against her was politically motivated and “trumped up” and are asking the judge in the case to either overturn the jury decision to convict Richards or to release her.

The movement has gathered over 57,900 signatures in five days on a letter of support for their position they plan to present to Superior Court Judge Elaine Lu.

In a press release, Black Lives Matter said that the conviction be overturned on the grounds that the facts presented at the trial did not support the charge,” said Richards’ attorney Nana Gyamfi.

UPDATE
Jasmine Richards Sentenced to
90 days in Jail, for Lynching

Think Progress posted this item "Black Lives Matter Organizer Sentenced To 90 Days In Prison", yesterday, about the sentencing of 3 months in prison, for "felony lynching" of BLM, Pasadena, California activist, Jasmine Richards.

It was an ommission by Think Progress, about the fact that Jasmine Richards is also on 3 years probabtion.

Additionally, Think Progress reports this video as that of the arrest of the BLM activist; but that's an error, as the video is that of the person that Jasmine and others were trying to make aware, to the police, was the wrong person to arrest.

The real issue is that the Pasadena Police Department did not feel the need to arrest Jasmine, at the scene, nor the others who were as much, or even more, active in trying to free the woman actually arrested.

Reportedly, California Governor Jerry Brown had removed the word "lynching" from the California Code book, prior to the arrest of Jasmine Richards. Whether or not her attorneys will file an appeal, remains to be seen.

Here's the video of the incident that Think Progress mistates is the arrest of Jasmine
