Wendy's 4 for 4 Burger May Soon Need a Microscope to See It

Here at Wendy's on South Street, by Lakewood Bod, near Los Angeles; and the same drive thru window gal says the burgers are the same size they've always been.

1st of all, she's too dam young to make such a statement.

2ndly, this consumer is 61 years old, and he knows the real history of Wendy's (BullChit about Dave having daughter {Look up - Judy's} ).

Additionally, everybody's burgers are getting smaller.

Now, don't get me wrong, I'm going to keep buying the 4 items for $4 because the doublestack is a cool deal for $1 and Wendy's nuggets are the best.

The 50 cents Frosty - this month - is awesome!

That being said - DAM!

Look at these pictures. My hand hasn't grown. The sandwich is barely bigger than 2 nuggets or 2 sauces. The handle on my stickshift is dang near bigger.

How long will it be before we need a Microscope to See the $1 specials?

Just sayin........

Board Suggests Firing Officer Who Killed Terrence Sterling

Source: NBC TV DC

The D.C. police trial board recommended firing the officer who shot and killed an unarmed man on a motorcycle in 2016, Mayor Muriel Bowser said Friday.

Officer Brian Trainer has 10 days to appeal.

Trainer, who is white, shot 31-year-old Terrence Sterling, who is black, after Sterling was reported to be riding his motorcycle recklessly Sept. 11, 2016.

Witnesses disputed what Trainer and a second officer said about the shooting.

Trump blew up at homeland security chief over border security

Source: CNN

President Donald Trump and Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen got into a lengthy, heated argument during a Cabinet meeting focused on immigration Wednesday, a source with knowledge of the blowup told CNN.

Trump was furious with Nielsen, telling her he didn't think she was doing enough to secure the border. But Nielsen stood her ground, citing the law in certain instances, the source said.

A separate White House official confirmed that Trump exploded over immigration in front of the Cabinet. The official described the remarks as "angry and heated" but also as fairly typical for Trump on this issue.

White House cancels NASA program on greenhouse gas --report

Source: GMA News

The White House has "quietly killed" a $10-million per year NASA program that tracks carbon and methane, key greenhouse gases that contribute to global warming, the journal Science said Thursday.

NASA's Carbon Monitoring System (CMS) tracked sources and sinks for carbon and made high-resolution models of the planet's flows of carbon, said the report.

"Now, President Donald Trump's administration has quietly killed the CMS," it said, describing the move as the latest in a "broad attack on climate science," mounted by the White House.

NASA did not immediately respond to a request for comment from AFP.

Watch GOP Strategist Steve Schmidt Absolutely Annihilate Mike Pence

Source: PoliticusUSA

Schmidt said of Pence on MSNBC’s Deadline: White House, “He is a titanic, and I mean titanic fraud. We have listened to this guy for many, many years in this country on his moral high horse assaulting the dignity of gay people, across the board. His moral preening is famous throughout the land. Yet he is the most obsequious of all Trump’s cultists in the cabinet. There have been occasions as George Will points out where speaking on trump in front of trump where he compliments him on an average of 3.2 seconds. We have never seen such slobbering servility by a high government official in this country than we do in Mike pence and Donald Trump. It is amazing.”

Schmidt later compared Pence to the house butler at Mar-a-Lago, “He’s supposed to be serving the American people. He’s the vice-president of the United States, and he acts like he’s the house butler at Mar-a-Lago.”

It was a brutal burial by the Republican strategist that was one hundred percent accurate. Pence has no credibility. He is known as Donald Trump’s stooge, and perhaps the weakest vice president in history, which is saying a lot. One of the best things to come out of the Trump administration is that America gets to see the real Mike Pence. The spineless, hate-filled sellout, who is a fake and a fraud.

White Yale Student Calls Police on Black Student for Napping in Dorm

Source: Diversity Inc.

Yale University claims it is committed to "maintaining an inclusive community of scholars." However, there's a glaring error in its practices when a white graduate student is either ill prepared or unwilling to live in a diverse and inclusive environment and continues to call the authorities on Black students.

Sarah Braasch reported Lolade Siyonbola, who is Black and also a graduate student, to Yale Police officers on Monday because Siyonbola fell asleep in the Hall of Graduate studies common room.

Police interrogated Siyonbola for more than 15 minutes. She showed the officers her room key and eventually went to her room to produce her student ID to confirm she is a Yale student who lives in the building.

Authorities said the interrogation took long because her last name was misspelled in the student database. Siyonbola wound up being penalized because she doesn't have a typical American last name — so much for inclusiveness.

Pence on Mueller investigation: 'It's time to wrap it up'

Source: The HILL

Vice President Pence on Thursday urged special counsel Robert Mueller to conclude his investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election, saying that doing so would be in the "interest of the country."

"What I think is that it's been about a year since this investigation began," Pence said in an interview on NBC's "Today" show. "Our administration has provided over a million documents, we've fully cooperated in it and in the interest of the country, I think it's time to wrap it up."

"And I would very respectfully encourage the special counsel and his team to bring their work to completion," he added.

Pence said that the Trump administration has so far been fully cooperative with Mueller's probe, and that it would continue to be.

Former CIA Analyst Turned Activist Ray McGovern Escorted Out Of Gina Haspel CIA Confirmation Hearing

Source: Activist Post

Former CIA analyst Ray McGovern who used to brief Ronald Reagan was thrown out of Gina Haspel’s confirmation hearing to become the second CIA director under U.S. president Donald Trump, replacing Mike Pompeo, Vice News reported.

It all started when Senator Jack Reed (D-Rhode Island), asked Haspel about the morality of “enhanced interrogation techniques” (TORTURE) and how she would react if one of her own CIA officers were tortured by terrorists. Would she consider a CIA officer being waterboarded by “terrorists” to be immoral?

“Sorry to interrupt here,” McGovern lambasted as he stood up in the audience. “Senator Wyden, you deserve a direct answer.” Although, Wyden wasn’t the Senator questioning Haspel at the time.

At that point, Sen. Richard Burr, who was appointed as the head of the Senate Intelligence Committee, ordered Capitol Police to escort McGovern out of the hearing, while threatening that everyone would be removed if there were any more interruptions.

McGovern yelled and demanded that Haspel answer questions about the waterboarding of terror suspects at a CIA “black site” in Thailand.

Woo Hoo! Another Victory for Standing Rock Sioux Tribe

Yes, there's more good news (which is very rare in this Administration's era).

Victory for Standing Rock Sioux Tribe, Court Finds That Approval of Dakota Access Pipeline Violated the Law

The Standing Rock Sioux Tribe won a significant victory today in its fight to protect the Tribe’s drinking water and ancestral lands from the Dakota Access pipeline.

A federal judge ruled that the federal permits authorizing the pipeline to cross the Missouri River just upstream of the Standing Rock reservation, which were hastily issued by the Trump administration just days after the inauguration, violated the law in certain critical respects.

This is the link to the story; which has an awesome picture
