FWIW, the Dow is back into slightly positive territory

CW is that Wall Street wants Clinton to win. When the FBI news broke the Dow dropped to around -50. I just checked and it is now +1.51. So hopefully that means that, assuming Wall Street wants Clinton to win, they are realizing that initial reporting was wrong and maybe it won't hurt her that much.

New Tweet from Tom Winter at NBC re. FBI - emails at issue not withheld by Clinton

He is doing a pretty good job tweeting about the FBI letter accurately.

Here's what this tweet says:

NEW: NBC's Pete Williams reports that the e-mails Comey announced today were NOT originally withheld by Clinton or campaign.

Check out all of his tweets for some decent reporting:

Have Hillary's 33,000 deleted e-mails been leaked yet?

According to a Deplorable who's been stalking me on Twitter they are supposed to be recovered and leaked today as a special birthday present for HRC.

I'm guessing that has not happened yet?

If there's an October surprise like that, I have to believe it would have been leaked by now. With Democrats bussing in hundreds of thousands of out of state pets, dead people, and undocumented immigrants to vote early in several swing states, I'm not sure why Assange would wait to release a campaign-killing October surprise until this late. Unless of course he's full of puff and doesn't actually have anything.

STILL AVAILABLE: Free spots on the #VoterFraudExpress bus. Pets & dead people welcome.

First I offered rides in my car for dead people & pets from NY to PA to vote, but I got so much interest that I decided to expand and charter a bus, the #VoterFraudExpress. We'll transport dead people and pets to some early voting states over the next few weeks. Then on election day, we'll hit PA, which has no early voting. Be prepared to vote early and often. Snacks provided.

Retweet if you have Twitter and want to promote the Voter Fraud Express: https://twitter.com/democrat2theend/status/790775660885180416

DISCLAIMER: This is intended as satire. I am not actually encouraging, soliciting, or advising anyone to commit voter fraud.

Seeking honest opinions: is this design I made offensive?

I made this design last night based on inspiration from the nickname someone adopted on Twitter. When I went to post it on Zazzle it flagged it for content review, and I was just notified that it was rejected because apparently they don't allow any references to the word "Nazi", regardless of context. This was not at all clear from their content guidelines.

As of now it is still for sale on CafePress and Redbubble, but I am wondering if it is over the top and I should take it down. I am pretty sure everything in my stores would offend deplorables, but if this offends other people who share my views I want to remove it. I am curious what other DU'ers think. FWIW, I don't throw the word "Nazi" around lightly.

If you find it offensive I am curious why if you have a moment to share.

It's starting: First "Check and Balance" ad set to run in New Hampshire

I read recently that in 1996 at the very end, GOP party leaders gave Republican congressional candidates permission to acknowledge that Dole was going to lose and use checks and balances on Clinton as an argument for themselves.

The first "checks and balances" ad, sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce, is set to air in New Hampshire.

This ad doesn't explicitly concede that Trump will lose, but it could signal a shift to that strategy.

#DelusionalDeplorables: Trump won the Third Debate

#DelusionalDeplorables is my proposed hashtag for articles like this.

Donald Trump won tonight’s debate. He didn’t implode, he didn’t blither, he didn’t continually interrupt Hillary Clinton and he didn’t even sniff much. And, frankly, he had the best retorts and one-liners. Clinton was on her heels much of the night, and several times, she had to reset by resorting to tired, hollow platitudes — which only drove home the point that she lacks authenticity and appears to be a typical politician who is therefore dishonest. That said, Clinton was an able, informed politician, but Trump — for the first time — appeared to be a worthy opponent.

The fact is this is a change election, and Clinton is not the change candidate. People don’t really want to vote for her, and tonight, she didn’t give them much of a reason to do so. And perhaps Trump put voters more at ease with Trump. Up until this debate, Trump has helped Clinton out by running a campaign that has been a complete misfire — taking the bait, chasing rabbits, insulting women, wallowing in conspiracies and almost consciously avoiding things voters care about. But during this debate, he held his tongue and held his temper. Trump isn’t particularly light on his feet, but he was confident and competent talking about the economy. It’s a wonder he hasn’t talked about the economy during more of the campaign. Anyway, he even showed a much better understanding of geopolitics than I would have thought. He sounded like a Republican on most issues. For Trump, it’s too bad there aren’t more debates.
