About Me

I thought I knew a lot, and I found out... how little I knew about what I know. And how much more there is to learn, if I listen and read what others have to say.

"Why Some Covid 19 Numbers Are Improving".

Source: CNN

You must scroll down to this heading....

WHERE THE US STANDS NOW..

The seven-day average of daily new cases is now 90,416 -- down from a peak of about 250,000 in early January, according to Johns Hopkins University.

As of Sunday, 67,023 people were hospitalized with Covid-19 -- about half the record-high of 132,447 set on January 6, according to the COVID Tracking Project.

But Covid-19 deaths are still painfully high. More than 42,500 Americans have died from Covid-19 in just the past two weeks. That's an average of more than 3,000 lives lost every day.

I DON'T AGREE....3000 DEATHS A DAY IS NOT "IMPROVING". THIS HEADLINE IS A LIE IN MY
OPINION.......

Think about this..

This is the equivalent of 150 dead in a plane crash...... times 20 every Day...
so instead of 40 crashes a day, we are down to 20 crashes a day...

Donald Trump kills in many ways, but the bottom line is he is a killer.

1. Pandemic
2. Riot at Pentagon
3. Total lack of concern for anybody but himself.
4. etc., etc., etc., etc.

What do you think is the most difficult purchase (of everyday stuff) & why?

...For me it is buying food. I walk up and down the aisles and look at this and that and end up buying
much more than I need. Yes, I got a list, but the adventure to the food store is indeed an adventure.
I look at the list, and get most of the things, and then go looking for stuff not on the list. Sometimes
when I am waiting in line to pay, I get an idea and get out of line and go look for the "idea." With the
list, I was sure I had it all together but I guess that is just another idea to put on the next..."list"

New York Times List of Who Voted Yes or No on Conviction of Trump..

https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2021/02/13/us/politics/senate-impeachment-live-vote.html

Trump is not going to prison, but is he already in a different kind of prison?

How will these questions be answered? How will Donald Trump deal with them?

..After all this is over, will Donald Trump be asked to speak at events?. (how many?)
..If he does speak at events, will those events break down in people yelling out stuff?
..Will he expect to get his TV Show back?
..How well will any book sell?
..Will he be able to pay all legal bills?
..How much respect will he get in TV interviews?.
..Will he give TV interviews? If he does, what questions does he answer?
..In order to avoid answering any questions, he will have to avoid interviews, and interviews
are events that he enjoys.
..What about divorce?
..What kind of respect will his children get, after all of this?
..If he becomes a recluse, like Nixon became, is that a different kind of punishment for Trump?

Just asking. Maybe some don't matter, but some will matter. What do you think?

"You Can't Yell.."Fire" in a Crowded Movie Theater...(not part of 1st Ammendment)

...I don't know when I learned this...Maybe 50 years ago, a few less or a few more. It doesn't matter. That is the reason Trump hasn't got a chance to win in the final analysis. Trump yelled "riot"and there was a "riot."

Donald Trump can say that.. he didn't yell "riot" but honest observers know he did yell, "riot." He yelled "riot" in what turned out to be "crowded gathering in a special place...(not a movie theater)

...His lawyers attempt to disown what he said, by using the word..."jurisdiction" is an attempt to disown the fact Trump yelled .."Riot" or its equivalent....in a crowded movie theater. (special place).........No, it wasn't a movie theater, it would be an equivalent in court...

..........Change the subject sort to speak...It won't work...because...
...Everyone can see that .....Trump incited a riot...True or False?...Answer is True..

Jamie Raskin like Biden also knows tragedy.

Raskin and his wife Sarah have two adult daughters, Hannah and Tabitha. On December 31, 2020, Raskin's office announced that his son Thomas (Tommy), a graduate of Amherst College and a second-year student at Harvard Law School, died at the age of 25.[48] On January 4, 2021, Raskin and his wife posted a tribute online which stated that Thomas had died by suicide after a prolonged battle with depression.[49][50] Thomas was buried on January 5, 2021, and the following day the Congressman found himself in the Capitol with his daughter and son-in-law during the January 6 insurrection attempt.[51][52] Hours later he began drafting an article of impeachment against President Donald Trump, and six days later House Speaker Nancy Pelosi named Raskin the lead manager of Trump's second impeachment.[53][54]

Raskin has been vegetarian since 2009.[55] He is a colon cancer survivor, having been diagnosed in May 2010. Raskin received six weeks of radiation and chemotherapy, and surgery to remove part of his colon, followed by more chemotherapy through early 2011.[56]

The "Downfall of Donald Trump" is great to watch on TV

...A mean vicious person comes falling off the wall. No real defense for what he did because it is clear
to everyone he is guilty..Guilty as sin. Guilty for saying the wrong thing at the wrong time. Guilty
for starting a riot.
.... But watching Trump fall in real time, and some people try to catch him but can't is quite a show. .....

Sad, because there are real deaths involved, and sad because this real and happening right
now in the U.S.A. But, the trial is not a secret, and it is there for all to watch, and you don't have to if you
don't want to. I didn't want to watch most of the show, but I turned it on at the time when a prosecutor
was talking about taking his daughter to the Capital and saw that live. Incredible!!

A Note about doing Research ..."The Good Old Days"...vs..".NOW"

Yes, I remember the "Good Old Days".. Think about this one..In the "Good Old Days" I would go to the library to
do any kind of research. I would go to the research section where there were tapes, old books, discs, old newspapers
etc. etc. etc. Then from place to place I would look over here and over there. I would sit down and then get
up. From one section of the library to another. Some old magazines collections were over there, and the
newspapers going back so far were over here, and then other materials were over in a third place. Then,
I would walk from the second place to the third place and back to the second and so on, and on, and on.
....Each time I would get up and walk from here to there, and from there to here and then to another place.
That was doing research in the ..."Good Old Days"...
....NOW, I can get all the information I want by sitting at the computer and staring at a screen..Don't have to
get up for hours and hours. Just sort of pay attention to the computer...How could anything be wrong with
that...

...Wait a moment...When I got up and walked around there was some kind of ............exercise ......
now I can watch the computer and .............fall asleep.....

Wait a moment....Is the old way better than the new way???Could that be??

I am not really sure?....

Is the new way a little like getting on the Titanic??? A question for the lounge...What do you think??
