madamesilverspurs's Journal"Law test" ?
Trump actually said that Harris didn't pass the "law test"? As if.
Maybe somebody should tell him that his buddy Jim Jordan is the one who didn't pass the "law test".

About Pete ---
He would undoubtedly be phenomenal as VP. He'd also be freaking spectacular as SoS. Let's face it, he'd shine in any office. Pete is a one-man embarrassment of riches.

Re Olympics: What am I doing wrong?
Much has changed at the games over the years; I still miss seeing the judges lifting their score cards (there's now a whole generation that doesn't get it when one of us quips, "8.7 from the Russian judge". Also, the viewing guide says Swimming but what's showing is Tennis. Then, the Diving is completed but they switch to another event before giving the results. Seriously, the broadcast flipping mid-event to another and then to yet another has me reaching for the dramamine. And call me silly, but what I really miss are the medals ceremonies. After showing the very exciting Gymnastics the camera had a wide shot of the venue, and it looked like they were setting up the podiums; then they switched to swimming. A bit later, while waiting for another event to start, they did a bit of chitchat with pics of athletes holding medals, then cut away from that for commentators exchanging inanities. No, I don't have a streaming service, and cranky computer doesn't much care for video activity. I'm actually getting a bit nostalgic for the grainy black and white that let us see the competitions, the judges, and the smiles of our athletes as they received their medals.
Gritch off. Also, sigh...........
