Washed-up soap actor says his claim that Obama was a Muslim has led to a Hollywood blacklist

Antonio Sabato Jr. Says Hollywood is Blacklisting Him for Supporting Donald Trump

AUGUST 3, 2016 | 12:37PM PT

Antonio Sabato Jr. claims that he’s been bullied endlessly in the days following his appearance at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland. Not only online, but by Hollywood directors who have blacklisted him. On July 18, the actor opened the RNC in Cleveland with a speech about why he’s supporting Donald Trump, calling him the “unity” candidate, who would secure borders and protect citizens. Sabato Jr. reached out to Variety to share what he says happened next.

"I think this country allows you freedom of speech. Anybody should be allowed to say whatever they want. When you’re in my business, you can’t talk about [conservative] politics. You just can’t. You’re attacked viciously in a way that I’ve never been attacked before.

On Twitter, there’s been name calling, and celebrities attacking me. That’s fine. I see it, but I don’t read it. I block them and delete them and move on. There’s so much negativity you can be taken into that. But I’ve also heard from celebrities: “If he can do it, I want to speak my mind too.” They are fed up with the way this country has been running and by all these lies."

Buncha whiny bullshit, IMHO.

Here’s a quick list of the *liberal* power brokers of Hollywood:

Robert Downey Jr.—Conservative and top grossing actor in Hollywood
Clint Eastwood—uh, huh
Sylvester Stallone—has three top grossing films over the last five years
Jerry Bruckheimer—Major hollywood producer of action films
Arnold Schwarzenegger—Was a governor once, I think
James Woods, Jon Voigt, Gary Senise, John Malkovich, Bruce Willis, Mel Gibson, Adam Sandler, Robert Duvall, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson ... and the list goes on.

This guy fucked up and said some stupid shit, and now he wants to whine about how people are noticing how dumb he is. Too bad, dummy. Back to daytime TV for you...if you're lucky.

Paul Ryan says Trump’s campaign is ‘distressing’ but stands by endorsement

Paul Ryan says Trump’s campaign is ‘distressing’ but stands by endorsement

“He’s had a pretty strange run since the convention,” Ryan said on WTAQ radio in Green Bay. “You would think that we want to be focusing on Hillary Clinton, on all of her deficiencies. She is such a weak candidate that one would think that we would be on offense against Hillary Clinton, and it is distressing that that’s not what we’re talking about these days.”

The interview was Ryan’s first live interview in more than a week, and it followed a near-constant string of Trump controversies, including his attacks on the parents of Capt. Humayun Khan, a Muslim-American Army officer who was killed in Iraq War combat in 2004.

But he made clear that he is deeply uncomfortable with Trump’s performance since becoming the nominee. He called Trump’s comments on the Khan family “were beyond the pale.”

“You don’t do that to Gold Star families,” he said. “If anyone has earned the right to say whatever they want, it is Gold Star Families.”

Where is Paul Ryan's integrity? Did he leave it on the bus? Should he check in his suitcases?

I can't help but think about good old, weepy John Boehner and how he would have handled things. Maybe better. I think so. Anyway, dude had remarkable timing on choosing when to exit the stage.

U.S. Officials Literally Laughing at Donald Trump’s ‘Top Secret’ Iran Video Claim

U.S. national security officials are literally laughing at Donald Trump’s claim that he watched a “top secret” Iranian-military produced video showing its government scurrying to grab palettes filled with hundreds of millions of dollars.

“It didn’t happen,” one U.S. official said. “That was not part of any briefing.”
The other just chuckled at the proposition.

On Tuesday, the Wall Street Journal reported that the U.S. had secretly paid the Iranians $400 million in various currencies around January at the same time that Iran released four Americans held in Tehran.
Trump said he watched it unfold.

“I’ll never forget the scene this morning,” Trump told the crowd on Wednesday. “Iran—I don’t think you’ve heard this anywhere but here—Iran provided all of that footage, the tape, of taking that money off that airplane.”

There is just one problem. The U.S. had no way to directly deliver cold hard currency to Iran. Rather the palettes referred to in the Journal piece traveled to Switzerland and the money was eventually transferred to Iran. That is, no palettes ever landed in Iran, a U.S. official told the Daily Beast.
And yet on Wednesday, while speaking to a crowd in Daytona Beach, Florida, Trump said he watched video filmed by the Iranian military in an effort to “embarrass” the United States.

“Over there, where that plane landed, top secret, they don’t have a lot of paparazzi, you know,” Trump explained. “The paparazzi doesn’t do so well over there.” But “they have a perfect tape, obviously done by a government camera, and the tape is of the people taking the money off the plane. It’s a military tape. It’s a tape that was a perfect angle, nice and steady.”

Trump did not mention the tape in a second speech that day in Jacksonville.

Well, it turns out he saw it on TV. Trump spokesperson Hope Hicks admitted to the Washington Post that footage Trump was referring to was not, in fact, top secret. It was b-roll from a Fox News segment.

This fat, bald loser just can't stop lying. Pants on fire again Donald. Please just stop. Stop embarrassing yourself and the country. It's time for an intervention by the "sensible" children. Again.

Donald Trump Pushes Republican Party to Its Breaking Point - NBC News

Donald Trump has summoned a tornado of negative stories that threaten to rip his campaign from its foundation if he doesn't stop, supporters inside and outside Trump's orbit are warning.

Several top backers — including Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich and former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani — are trying to persuade Trump to move past his feud with the parents of the late Iraq War soldier Humayun Khan, stop bashing fellow Republicans like House Speaker Paul Ryan and Sen. John McCain, and refocus his attacks on Hillary Clinton.

But hopes aren't high among Republican allies that Trump, 70, can make such a fundamental change at this point. And the Trump campaign publicly denies that any intervention is occurring at all.

"The reality is that I don't think anyone has any influence" over Trump, a party source told NBC News.

Within the GOP, strategists are increasingly wondering at what point candidates will aggressively break with Trump or the party will divert resources from the presidential race to head off a collapse down the ticket.

I can't help it. I'm happy about the Rethuglican difficulties. Shadenfreude is the word.

Donald Trump’s Many, Many, Many, Many Ties to Russia

Source: Time

Russian intelligence agencies have allegedly recently digitally broken into four different American organizations that are affiliated either with Hillary Clinton or the Democratic Party since late May. All of the hacks appear designed to benefit Donald Trump’s presidential aspirations in one fashion or another.

When asked about this, and his affection for Russian president Vladimir Putin, Trump said any inference that a connection exists between the two is absurd and the stuff of conspiracy. “I have ZERO investments in Russia,” he tweeted after the Democratic National Committee was apparently hacked by Russia and the emails released by Wiki Leaks on the eve of the DNC convention to nominate Clinton as its 2016 presidential candidate.

Most of the coverage of the links between Trump and Putin’s Russia takes the GOP presidential nominee at his word—that he has lusted after a Trump tower in Moscow, and come up spectacularly short. But Trump’s dodge—that he has no businesses in Russia, so there is no connection to Putin—is a classic magician’s trick. Show one idle hand, while the other is actually doing the work.

The truth, as several columnists and reporters have painstakingly shown since the first hack of a Clinton-affiliated group took place in late May or early June, is that several of Trump’s businesses outside of Russia are entangled with Russian financiers inside Putin’s circle.

So, yes, it’s true that Trump has failed to land a business venture inside Russia. But the real truth is that, as major banks in America stopped lending him money following his many bankruptcies, the Trump organization was forced to seek financing from non-traditional institutions. Several had direct ties to Russian financial interests in ways that have raised eyebrows. What’s more, several of Trump’s senior advisors have business ties to Russia or its satellite politicians.

The most obvious example is Trump Soho, a complicated web of financial intrigue that has played out in court. A lawsuit claimed that the business group, Bayrock, underpinning Trump Soho was supported by criminal Russian financial interests. While its initial claim absolved Trump of knowledge of those activities, Trump himself later took on the group’s principal partner as a senior advisor in the Trump organization.

“Tax evasion and money-laundering are the core of Bayrock’s business model,” the lawsuit said of the financiers behind Trump Soho. The financing came from Russian-affiliated business interests that engaged in criminal activities, it said. “(But) there is no evidence Trump took any part in, or knew of, their racketeering.”

There is some great reporting going on around this subject. And the deeper they dig, the stinkier it gets.

This is going to keep breaking for weeks. I can't wait to see what else they dig up on the lying, CheetoSkinned loser.

How Paul Manafort Wielded Power in Ukraine Before Advising Donald Trump

Source: New York Times

A separate deal also funneled Russian-linked oligarchic money into Ukraine. In 2007, Mr. Manafort and two partners, Rick Gates and Rick Davis, set up a private equity company in the Cayman Islands to buy assets in Ukraine, and invited the Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska to invest, according to a court filing. Mr. Deripaska agreed to pay a 2 percent annual management fee to Mr. Manafort and his partners, and put $100 million into the fund, which bought a cable television station in the Black Sea port of Odessa, Ukraine, before the agreement unraveled in disagreements over auditing and Mr. Deripaska sued Mr. Manafort. The case is still pending.

Mr. Manafort’s role was disclosed after a document was discovered in a box in a sauna belonging to a former senior Ukrainian official. Other documents in that cache are now evidence in a criminal case against a former justice official, and could shed more light on Mr. Manafort’s role.

It is not clear that Mr. Manafort’s work in Ukraine ended with his work with Mr. Trump’s campaign. A communications aide for Mr. Lyovochkin, who financed Mr. Manafort’s work, declined to say whether he was still on retainer or how much he had been paid.

Mr. Manafort has not registered as a lobbyist representing Ukraine, which would require disclosing his earnings, though at least one company he subcontracted, the public relations firm Edelman, did in 2008. It received a retainer of $35,000 a month to promote Mr. Yanukovych’s efforts as prime minister “toward making Ukraine a more democratic country.”

Read more: http://www.nytimes.com/2016/08/01/us/paul-manafort-ukraine-donald-trump.html?ref=politics&_r=2

from another site:

"While Manafort worked as a political consultant for Yanukovych, the Ukranian people rose up in protest against Yanukovych’s government, and he fled the country in fear. He found refuge in Russia, a nation which he — and Manafort –– had long been allied with.

The day after he fled the Ukraine marks the beginning of the war carried out by Russian forces against the nation, a war resulting in the Russians claiming to have annexed the Crimean peninsula, adding it to the Russian territory.

During all of these events, leading to untold numbers of violent deaths among noncombatant Ukrainian civilians, Manafort continued to work on behalf of the pro-Russia and pro-Putin forces inside the Ukraine. He helped lead the efforts to oppose the government that arose in place of Yanukovych, a government aligned with the United States and against Russia."

Discussions underway to not have Debbie Wasserman Schultz appear on DNC stage

Source: MSNBC

This was just announced on Andrea Mitchell's show by Chris Jansing. After what happened at the Florida delegation breakfast, this comes as no surprise.

Was she really planning on addressing the mob after this happened? I wonder how THAT would go??
