Let’s not be to hard on the uber rich! I mean after all…

If not for the billions of dollars they pump and pimp into our election process. The high maintenance political whores (drama kings and queens), that are chosen to run our government like a morally bankrupt three ring circus, might end up being replaced by some less attractive, intelligent, humble, honest, and "god forbid"... Dreaded peace loving, tree hugging liberals who have a conscience.

Of course, there is nothing to worry about, because we all know how much working class people love to worship aesthetic puppets, and political whores that will sell them out to the highest bidder just to get elected.

Besides, most people haven't the understanding or vision, that would produce a big interest in seeing what life would be like without the narcissistic behavior and financial greed that has made our pretend democracy into a utopia for the rich and venal.

And thankfully, as a just reward for their willful blindness, a psychological plague of denial has been bestowed upon the great mass of losers that do all the work of creating tangible wealth for a pittance of its worth. Insuring most of them will slave away, and never be the wiser.

Counting the few exceptions to the rule, you about 99.99 % correct.

Adding that an intelligent person who has a conscience has a far better chance of being struck by lightning, then they have winning an election without the support of the 1%.

Of course, thanks to the internet, and ease of communication, theirs a growing awareness towards M$M propaganda, and our broken election process.

Hence their desire to monitor all communications, and control internet content, as if enough people would willfully wake up, and figure out what is really going on. I don't see that happening anytime soon either.

Reced, bookmarked, emailed, downloaded, shared and...

If there was a ever magic pill that could wake people up, and cause them to see the pernicious behavior of a government run amok with "legalized" criminal behavior, it will come in the form of art, music, and even rap.

Thank you for posting this video Catherina, I hope it becomes a big hit on DU.

I predict that...

Conservative sycophants, or worse, of mediocre intelligence at best, will continue to control all three branches of the federal government.

Political Parties may change faces... But to what good?

The collective character will remain unchanged, and the ruling class will win again.

I came to the conclusion a long time ago that...

Conservative intellectuals are not conservatives at all, they are psychopaths.

That's why right wing extremist are so dangerous.

Wrongs not right just because Obama says it is...

As if there is no such thing as "social adjustments according to family wealth".

As if people growing up in poverty have the same opportunities as those who grow in mansions, and see the cost of an in Ivy League education as chump change.

As if this isn't another very conservative blame the victim speech.

As if republicans at heart don't call themselves democrats just to get elected.

As if the 1% doesn't pump billions of dollars into our election process in order insure there is never a level playing field.

But it's all good, and I'm sure that there are a lot of fat rich white psychopaths that applaud this speech well laughing their asses off, because the joke is on those we see it as being anything but right wing bullshit that has nothing to do with the real world.

Our monetary system is one big ponzi scheme that has the endorsement of religion...

You read in the bible about how Jesus threw the money changing con-artist out of the temple, and said it would be easier to put a camel through the eye of a needle than it would be for a rich man to go to heaven. There's no doubt that his behavior and language pissed off religious leaders about as much as it did the money changers.

My my how things never change, religious leaders and money changers are still on the same team.

Regardless of the views born of divine fairy tails... The money changing con-artist of today, and some religious con-artist too, understand all to well, that a vast majority of people are magical thinking political illiterates that are easily misled by myths, lies, and symbols of ideology. It's like a playground for psychopaths, but that's another story.

I marvel at the income disparity between those who own most of the wealth but produce nothing of value, and the ignorant masses who slave away their lives to produce everything of value, mostly to own very little.

But hey, money changing con-artist put "IN GOD WE TRUST" on the paper we use to exchange labor for labor, and call it money. And it's not just money, but rather, it's money that has the blessings of the church. So what could possibly be wrong with that?

How about... Honest people who labor to create wealth, have world views that do not include an understanding as to how the monetary ponzi scheme their subjected to actually works.

And by demanding that "IN GOD WE TRUST" be put on something that is printed by a group of money changing con-artist, the church helped pave the way for the biggest theft of wealth in human history.

In other words, the thieves could not have gotten away with it, without the churches demand that a seal of approval from "God" be plastered all over it.

And by looking at the dwindling value of our currency, I think the honest thing to do would be to change "IN GOD WE TRUST" to "TRUST ME YOU IDIOT".

I abstain from taking polls that gage the approval of lessor and greater evils?

Especially when the system of choosing our leaders is thoroughly rigged in order to keep honest, and more capable people out.

How fortunate for rulers that there are no better choices in power, that we can compare them to.

It's to bad that the best we can do, is to not do worse.

Standing in the way of predators profiting from the suffering of others...

Is touted by free market predators as being socialist, not to mention that it might kill the incentive of those whose only talent is that of a really good con-artist.

Unfortunately, it's this predatory thinking that has assimilated both political Parties, the sanctity of culture, and public institutions alike.

But then, why would it be any different, after all, the predator class pumps hundreds of billions of dollars into the campaign coffers of both political parties, just so they can convince hundreds of millions of people that they somehow have a choice in how their being screwed. And that all of this unbridled greed, and legalized corruption is anything but, and is somehow the best system the World has to offer.

You can't predict what or when a psychopath will do...

But you can be absolutely certain that they will do something!

Somethings can play out slowly over time, such as the never ending war on terror, which is a war of terror.
But then, things like war and genocide have been the traditional means of population control for thousands of years, but I think that psychopaths have figured out that to much overt war making can lead to serious blow back and loss of control.

So in today's World, the war makers are much more covert. And thanks to technology, they can supply the weapons, and stir up a multitude of hornets nest around the World, and just sit back and watch the killing off of the herd from a distance.

And then there's the genetically modified foods that could solve the problems of over population, through starvation. Making food plants with terminator seeds, so the plants cant reproduce. Now that's a great idea! And making plants with its own pesticide might also sound like a great idea, except it kills off the good insects with the bad insects. But then, when plants are designed to self terminate, who needs honey bees.

And then there's the problem with animals that eat genetically modified foods, sterilizing whole populations could have a definite effect on over population. google search third generation gmo foods

And then there is the chemical, biological, and nuclear weapons that are all prepared and ready to go at a moments notice.

So to answer your question of over population. Yes they do have solutions, and yes some of these solutions are already in play, and some are waiting to be played. As to how bad it will get, the place and time... That all remains to be seen, but the sad truth is that the worst is yet to come.
