could not disagree more!

Republicans planned this shutdown months ago!

Republicans have been disenfranchising older and darker Americans for years!

They're incredibly organized and methodical!

They plan long term.

Dems plan once every 4 years.

did you just arrive here from a distant land?

Democrats don't fight back.

When was the last time we went after Rs like they go after Dems?

Let me know.

Follow up: what have you seen that makes you believe this time will be different!?

Dems don't fight back. Where'd you get the idea we did? Remember Nancy Pelosi and her preemptive strike against investigating BushCo? Rep. Weiner's wiener is what got Nancy's ire? BushCo...pfft. And by not doing so, she created (monsters) media darlings: Cheney's a movie star and GWB is a great painter.

Our party leaders: Gore? Kerry? Pelosi? Reid? even Obama?? When have they fought the good fight against Rs?

Tell me about the times Dems got down and dirty. Rs win the media wars because they wage them and Dems roll over.

Welcome to America.

Full House

Rahm is at it again with the public schools here in Chitown. What a piece of crap! It brought to mind this Full House of Horrors

Rahm Emmanuel
Larry Summers
Arne Duncan
Tim Geithner
Jack Lew

Looks like someone has a problem with character judgment, and it ain't me. I don't know how you can call yourself a progressive if this looks like a winning hand but I'd like to hear you try.

Yes! I'm calling those who shout "F%#$ (insert name here)! because...

they never pass up an opportunity to bash Obama" Obamaites.

LOL

Bernie Sanders fits the description!!!!!

I listen to and read Bernie weekly, and he's constantly criticizing Obama.

Good on ya, Bernie. Someone's got to keep Obama honest. His brigade isn't having any of it!

Try reading (like actually reading) my post.

...you'll learn a shit load of information that Forbes doesn't even know.

Why isn't Sergiy Stakhovsky on your list? He's usually ranked inside the top 100. A truly amazing accomplishment alone.

Here's what he would tell Forbes if they asked:

On prize money tennis:

I’m in the negative after the IW and Miami Masters. About five thousand. And that’s while reaching the second round in Indian Wells.

This year I’ve been flying economy. From London to Dubai and back I flew for 1200 Euros. And we can’t order tickets in advance. In addition, you can’t give up the cheap tickets. Often, we buy the tickets on the day of departure. And those are completely different numbers.

In a year, I spend 170 thousand Euros on the “game expenses” category. Last year, only the tickets cost me 85 thousand. I earned $428 thousand. Take out 30%, on average, for taxes.

Federer, Nadal, Djokovic, Murray – that’s simply another world. … We simply don’t exist in comparison with them.

Players who aren’t inside the top-20, don’t have any money, except for the prize money. Contracts, clothes – that’s all for the top-5 or top-10 players.

That's pretty much what I told you.

couldn't agree more...Clinton

American jobs and well regulated financial markets and institutions went out of vogue with Clinton and Dems. Dems don't have to stand for any of these things anymore so long as they're pro-choice and gay rights. We've gotten as intellectually lazy and dishonest as Rs.

Occupy their homes

Ii was listening to Ed and a càller said he just quit his job as chef at a high end restaurant in CT where the real power elite reside. He said one thing they hate is to wait, so he suggested the occupy movement mobilize. He thought a few hundred cars crowding their steers and gas stations would be a huge inconvenience. Same with grocery stores and restaurants. It's not about purchases, it's about "heavy traffic" and delays. Buy $2 of gas, pay in cash, and the next person and so on. Buy an apple and orange, and the next person, and so on.

I liked the idea, anyway.
