Since we're talking about turning away people based on their race and religion...

because of the actions of a few criminals who happen to be of similar race and claim to be a part of that religion.

Lets talk about a segment that makes up 13.2% of American population but were responsible for 52.5% of all homicides between 1980 and 2008, would we ever consider subjecting them through intense screenings and denying them access to housing, jobs, neighborhoods, etc based on the actions of a few criminals within their population?

No, absolutely not because that would be WRONG to group them together and punish them for the actions of a few.

So why are people within our own party okay with ostracizing, discriminating against and segregating Syrians and Iraqis?

These people rarely commit crimes, they work hard, they strive to be self sufficient and they work to law enforcement root out radicals in their midst which is why the FBI is constantly foiling potential plots.

What if we denied Iranians fleeing decades ago, Beverly hills would look vastly different. It probably wouldn't be the most luxurious cities in the country.

Name one middle eastern crime filled ghetto in the US.

The truth is you're likely to be shot by a White, Black or Hispanic male way way way way before you're ever going to be attacked by someone from the middle east. I guarantee you this weekend we'll see hundreds shot and wounded due to gun violence around the country and ZERO of those will be at the hand of those "scaaaaarrrry" people from the middle east.

By the way, we've had 11,740 deaths[/link] so far due to gun violence but we're afraid of a few Syrians going nuts?

Shame on everyone who voted to deny families like this safe haven in this country

I hope President Obama vetoes the hell out of these upcoming kneejerk racist bills.

Russia openly brags about slaughtering 600 people in one strike, smears those killed as "terrorists"

Russian cruise missiles hit ISIS from Mediterranean & Caspian; 600 killed in one strike

The Russian military has launched cruise missiles against Islamic State positions in Syria from both the Mediterranean and Caspian seas, one of which killed over 600 terrorists in the Deir Ex-Zor Province, Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu has said.

“On November 20, the warships of the Caspian Fleet launched 18 cruise missiles at seven targets in the provinces of Raqqa, Idlib and Aleppo. All targets were hit successfully,” he reported to President Vladimir Putin.

Overall, there are 10 warships taking part in the operation, six of which are in the Mediterranean.

If all 600 of those people are all terrorists then I have bridge that links California to China to sell you.

Infowars "Reporter" Joe Biggs brings 6-7 heavily armed Blackwater-esque team to Ferguson

I have no doubt that they are planning to unleash untold amounts of gunfire on anything and everything moving if the crowd picks up this weekend and some idiot opens fire from within the crowd like last weekend. Thank goodness they were not on the ground last weekend.

(Source)

Although he keeps denying hiring them, he kind of let the cat of the bag yesterday by admitting that they came in with him.

The same "Reporter" who calls himself Joe "Rambo" Biggs in front of a mosque in Phoenix earlier this year

And for those who say it will never happen, it's happened before.

So, is Saint Louis County Police Chief Jon Belmar who personally met with this crew yesterday going to let them murder a bunch of people or is he going to do the responsible thing and take them off the streets for illegally providing a security service without a license?

We will see.

That's what I've always thought although I didnt need to hear it from some Fox "News" twit

The name itself comes off as very divisive and I believe it serves two main purposes

1. It creates racial division and tension so people will fight with each other instead of focusing on the bigger issue of police aggression and brutality in America (Divide et impera)

2. It attempts to make people who are against police brutality look like crazy extremists and anarchists.

I think #BlackLivesMatter was created and founded by pro-police/right wing groups which is why you're now seeing them target democrats and you're seeing people like Marissa Jenae Johnson who supported Sarah Palin (of all people) heading up BlackLivesMatter in places like Seattle.

Just look up programs like COINTELPRO and the Mississippi State Sovereignty Commission

Also watch Spies of Mississippi which is based on the MSSC.

Spies of Mississippi is a journey into the world of informants, infiltrators, and agent provocateurs in the heart of Dixie.

The film tells the story of a secret spy agency formed by the state of Mississippi to preserve segregation and maintain “the Mississippi way of life,” white supremacy, during the 1950s and ‘60s. The Mississippi State Sovereignty Commission (MSSC) evolved from a predominantly public relations agency to a full-fledged spy operation, spying on over 87,000 Americans over the course of a decade.

The Commission employed a network of investigators and informants, including African Americans, to help infiltrate some of the largest Black organizations like National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) and The Congress of Racial Equality (CORE). The MSSC was granted broad powers to investigate private citizens and organizations, keep secret files, make arrests, and compel testimony for a state that, as civil rights activist Lawrence Guyot says in the film, “was committed to an apartheid system that would make South Africa blush.”

The film reveals the full scope and impact of the Commission, including its links to private white supremacist organizations, its ties to investigative agencies in other states, and even its program to bankroll the opposition to civil rights legislation in Washington D.C.

Weaving in chilling footage of Ku Klux Klan rallies and government propaganda films alongside rare images and interviews from the period, Spies of Mississippi tracks the Commission’s hidden role in many of the most important chapters of the civil rights movement, including the integration of the University of Mississippi, the assassination of Medgar Evers, and the KKK murders of three civil rights workers in 1964.

And if you think this type of stuff couldn't happen today, think again.

Last year these three inserted themselves in a protest for Ezell Ford in Los Angeles and started screaming at people, shoving photographers and tried to light a reporter on fire, thankfully local residents stepped in and ran them off.

Just something to think about.

Man claiming to be a photographer caught trying to sneak gun into Biden event in Los Angeles

NORTH HOLLYWOOD (CBSLA.com) — A man was detained Wednesday for allegedly carrying a weapon near a North Hollywood business where U.S. Vice President Joe Biden was scheduled to speak.

The man was detained around midday near Bobrick Washroom Equipment at 6901 Tujunga Avenue, according to Los Angeles police Sgt. Marlon Marrache.

The man “breached a zone” set up by police for Biden’s visit and was found to be in possession of a weapon, Marrache said.

CBS2/KCAL9’s Randy Paige reports a photographer hired by a company to shoot photos of the event was caught with a gun while going through a security sweep.

He was arrested and taken to the LAPD North Hollywood station for booking.

California Highway Patrol harasses Black family's funeral procession

?w=632

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Loved ones traveled in a cluster of 100 or so vehicles, like a metallic herd on the 10 Freeway, as they made their way towards the cemetery.

But their funeral procession came to a halt when a California Highway Patrol officer pulled over one of their escorts, prompting all the other cars to pull over too.

Reporter Erica Nochlin sat down with the family for an interview you’ll only see on CBS2.

The family says they were outraged when that driver was handed a traffic ticket. That anger can clearly be heard in a female relative’s voice during cell phone video taken of the stop: “These people just lost their mom…you stoppin’ a whole funeral…this is ridiculous man.”

Family member Ricky Powers says he’s still mad his chance to mourn his aunt, Sandra, was interrupted by the officer: “I asked him, I said, ‘You really think this is the time and place for that? I mean, we’re grieving right now.'”

CHP Officer Chris Baldonado says that lead escort was ticketed for stopping traffic in the far right lane of the eastbound 10 when doesn’t have that authority.

“It is a sad situation,” said Baldonado, adding, “I think [the officer] acted within his powers, and his best discretion.”

Serial woman beater Terrence Howard has a baby dick

...according to the Gawker and video evidence

Source with uncensored video: http://defamer.gawker.com/terrence-howards-wife-was-right-about-his-small-dick-1702969630/

As for his repeated history of beating/assaulting women:

2000

The allegation: In August of 2000, Howard was arrested in Cleveland after assaulting a flight attendant on Continental Airlines when she told him to return to his seat while the seat belt sign was on.

Howard's defense: Howard says he was just trying to take his daughter to the bathroom, and charges were dropped by the Cleveland District Attorney for lack of jurisdiction.

________________________________________________________________________

2001

The allegation: Less than a year after the Continental incident, Howard was arrested in Whitemarsh, PA for assaulting his estranged wife, Lori McCommas. An argument over the phone led to Howard driving over to McCommas' home, kicking down her front door, and punching her three times in the face. Pleasant.

Howard's defense: According to The Smoking Gun, "Howard admitted, 'I broke the door down and hit my wife.' After being charged with a variety of crimes (simple assault, terroristic threats, harassment and stalking), Howard subsequently pleaded guilty in 2002 to disorderly conduct."
________________________________________________________________________

2005

The allegation: Though the story is only coming to light now, Philadelphia Magazine reports that back in March of 2005, Howard was involved in another violent incident with two complete strangers: Danielle DiStefano and her then-fiance Kevin Saffell were in line at Ray's Dining Car in Philadelphia when Howard became violent after the couple was seated ahead of him (DiStefano and Saffell were in line first). After allegedly punching Saffell, a U.S. Marine, to the ground, Howard is said to have punched DiStefano in the chest, and continued to beat Saffell, before fleeing the scene. He was arrested and charged with simple assault and harassment, but those charges were later withdrawn and Howard only received charges for disorderly conduct.

Howard's defense: At the time, Howard admitted to the arresting officer that he'd hit both Saffell and DiStefano, but claimed it was in self-defense. When contacted more recently by Philadelphia Magazine, Howard's lawyer said that his client "has been unjustly accused of acts that never happened."
________________________________________________________________________

2010 - 2011

The allegation: Howard married his second wife, Michelle Ghent, on January 20, 2010. It took less than a week for the alleged violence to begin. Ghent filed for divorce in January 2011, and the divorce papers detail a gruesome year: a slug in the face a week into the marriage, a beating and near-toss off a balcony in South Africa in July, and threats with a butcher knife in the week prior to her filing for divorce. The abuse apparently continued as Howard and Ghent tried to reconcile.

Howard's defense: Howard alleges that it was Ghent who was violent towards him, the judge granted Ghent a restraining order against Howard in December of 2011.
________________________________________________________________________

2012

The allegation: On May 6, 2012 Howard's on again-off again girlfriend/mistress May Seng Yang alleged that during an argument at Howard's Pennsylvania home, Howard attacked her while his current girlfriend, Erica Jiles looked on. Yang "told Whitemarsh police that Howard had choked her, thrown her to the ground and punched her in the eye, then told his girlfriend, 'Fuck this, I’m going to jail for this tonight.' In a handwritten statement to police, Yang wrote that during their argument she told Howard that he had given her herpes and says he acknowledged doing so."

Howard's defense: Howard filed assault charges against Yang for punching him during the melee, and both parties dropped criminal charges and settled in a private civil suit.
________________________________________________________________________

2013

The allegation: Howard and Ghent recently took another shot at a reconciliation, taking a trip to Costa Rica together August of 2013. Ghent alleges that Howard punched her in the face, after she told him she didn't think a reconciliation was going to work out, forcing her to pepper spray him in self defense. The photos are damning. A judge has granted Ghent a temporary restraining order.

Howard's defense: At the premiere of Lee Daniels' The Butler, Howard told Entertainment Tonight's Nancy O'Dell that he wanted to "set the record straight":

He also said this about Chris Brown after he viciously beat Rihanna

"It's just life, man. Chris is a great guy, man. He'll be all right. And Rihanna knows he loves her, you know? They'll be alright. 'Cause everybody gotta get out of their way, you know what I mean?"

LAPD fatally shoot another unarmed transient after so-called "struggle" in Venice, CA

(Solomon Turner protests the fatal shooting of a homeless man by Los Angeles police in Venice.)

An unarmed man who had reportedly fought a bar bouncer and harassed people in Venice on Tuesday night was shot and killed by Los Angeles police officers after a struggle, authorities said.

The man, whom friends said was known by the nickname “Dizzle,” was described as a transient. He was in his 20s, L.A. County coroner’s officials said.

About 11:30 p.m., officers with the LAPD’s Pacific Division responded to a call from an employee at a local business reporting that a man was harassing customers near Windward and Pacific avenues.

Two officers found the man on the south sidewalk west of Windward Avenue and after a brief conversation he walked away toward the Venice boardwalk.

As officers returned to their police cruiser they saw the man get into a physical altercation with a bar security guard on the sidewalk nearby, police said.

"The officers attempted to detain the suspect and an altercation occurred between the two officers and the suspect," the Los Angeles Police Department said in a statement. "During the physical altercation, an officer-involved shooting occurred.”

Officers, according to the LAPD, performed CPR on the man until paramedics arrived and took him to the hospital. One of the officers hurt his knee during the struggle, Det. Meghan Aguilar said.
