Twitter users - what's the weirdest topic that you've been suggested to follow?

Twitter has a feature where it suggests that you follow certain topics. And I think the weirdest one for me is that it randomly suggested that I follow Everton, which is a British Premiere League team. I've never followed anything even remotely connected to the BPL, which makes this one even stranger.

It's also randomly suggested that I follow the city of Oakland (I'm in So Cal) and beauty (I'm a guy so this doesn't really apply to me).

Iced Earth's Jon Schaffer Pleads Guilty to Two Charges in Capitol Riot Read More: Jon Schaffer Plea

Iced Earth guitarist Jon Schaffer has entered a guilty plea on two of the charges against him related to the Capitol building riot earlier this year as part of a plea deal.

According to the Washington Post, the musician is the first to agree to a plea deal in the domestic terrorism investigation that saw over 400 people charged for their roles in the invasion of the Capitol Building back on Jan. 6.

The two charges he pled guilty to were obstruction of an official proceeding of Congress and trespassing on restricted grounds of the Capitol while armed with a deadly or dangerous weapon.

Shortly after the riots took place, Schaffer was one of the first identified in photos that were taken at the Capitol Building and he was later sought out for his role. The Iced Earth guitarist turned himself in to FBI agents in Indianapolis on Jan. 18 and remained in Indiana until recently when his case was sent to court in Washington, D.C.

Schaffer was charged on Friday (April 16) by criminal information, a type of charging document used when a defendant waives the right to an indictment. He was initially charged with six crimes, including engaging in an act of physical violence and targeting police with bear spray, but as part of the plea deal he only plead guilty to two of the counts. Both are felony offenses carrying heavy penalties.

Why do conservatives want Biden and Harris to go to the border so badly?

And seriously - what would that accomplish? It wouldn't accomplish anything because even if they did cater to their demands, they would still find ways to smear them, saying things like they didn't go to the border fast enough, or would find some way to blame the current border "crisis" on Obama even though most of this is the previous guy's fault.

Personally I'd rather have Joe and Kamala stay and work on actual crises, not ones made up by a news network for ratings.

So about those Trump merchandise booths...

I was driving around yesterday and I passed by one, and they've now devolved into selling "F**k Biden" merchandise, complete with t-shirts that have some very violent and offensive slogans on them. Yes this is a thing that exists. And they are hurling obscenities on fairly heavily trafficked street corners. It's totally disgusting. Yes, I know it's meant to be offensive and we fall for it, but this is truly horrid and beyond the pale. But I can't help but keep wondering - where is this shit coming from? And who's sponsoring these booths? What is their purpose? And also - how is this sort of thing even allowed or tolerated by the city?
