The run on ivermectin shows that the GOP base is really scared. They

are just blocked from taking other measures, measures that in fact work like masks and the vaccine, by some mental block/loyalty to their tv hosts/politicians. How sick is that. Their tv and podcast hosts, and right wing politicians, are not loyal to them and their health.

Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) suggested researchers are not pursuing ivermectin as a possible COVID-19 treatment because of their disdain for former President Trump.

"The hatred for Trump deranged these people so much, that they're unwilling to objectively study it," Paul told dozens of constituents at a meeting in a suburb just south of Cincinnati on Friday, the Cincinnati Enquirer reported. 

"So someone like me that's in the middle on it, I can't tell you because they will not study ivermectin," the senator added. "They will not study hydroxychloroquine without the taint of their hatred for Donald Trump."

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) warned Americans last week not to take ivermectin, a drug sometimes used to treat parasitic worm infections in humans and livestock.

People are really afraid but blocked by their leaders in using masks

or vaccines. So they have nowhere to go but lateral. Sad part is some of their leaders are vaxxed up themselves.

That is what the libertarians want with all this anti-mask anti-vaccine

mob delusions. They want those of us who are educated to lose empathy for the 'other'. In this case Trump and the GOP's base vulnerable to lies. Once they get you to not care that half the country is dying they will make you hate poor people and the vanishing middle class. I bet that is one of the goals to the whole libertarian kabuki theatre since they figured out how to exploit this pandemic in about May of 2020. You are the prize.

Leaving aside the horror and bloodlust, this is a stupid, stupid move by the Taliban.

A huge part of the Eritrean economy is Eritrian refugees working around the world and becoming citizens of say Canada and sending money back to Eritrea. Who is going to send money back home to Afghanistan if it will put their brother in danger.

Maybe the whole GOP gambit on being against masking and vaxxing

is to create intolerance amongst liberals for the unvaxxed. That the compassion for the other will break down in Democratic hearts and amongst the educated. That the GOP 'personal responsibility doctrine' will sink into liberal hearts. Could be one of the reasons why they are promoting kids getting covid. They want the lesson/intolerance to go on and on till all sides are intolerant and saying let the weak (weak in the head republicans) die die die. That's a very libertarian message.

Does not mean they are not doing it for other reasons too.

No doubt he is likeable. That is why the GOP recalled him. They don't want

him running against their dyslexic presidential candidate (Trump, Bush, Bush, Reagan) because he is one too and speaks in big pictures, counterpunches and appeals to the 20% of people who are dyslexic too. GOP dyslexics were all yoked by the GOP (Trump in the end). Unyoked dyslexic in Politics include George Washington, Woodrow Wilson, Teddy Roosevelt, Eleanor Roosevelt, Churchill, Napoleon, and JFK. The GOP figured this out and have sent dyslexics to presidential races since to have a populist leading their anti middle class agenda. Contrast Jeb Bush's flat footedness with George W. Bush's highwire act during debates. The first was smarter. The second brother was counterpunching without a net. The dyslexic won. Jeb was not going anywhere with his words so Trump beat him. (I believe Rubio to be the crown prince dyslexic the Republicans will go to after Trump: why they did not let him retire). Why Hillary lost. Newsome is smart and unyoked and could lead a revolution. That is why he is being recalled.....to ruin his chances at being populist president for liberals.
