Bush Family has ZERO redeeming qualities: Laura Bush Demands She Be Removed From Pro-Gay Marriage Ad

Laura Bush Demands She Be Removed From Pro-Gay Marriage Ad

U.S. former first lady Laura Bush has requested that her spot be removed from a pro-gay marriage advertisement that launched this week. The ad is part of a $1 million print and broadcast media campaign by the Respect for Marriage Coalition.

"Mrs. Bush did not approve of her inclusion in this advertisement nor is she associated in any way with the group that made the ad," Anne MacDonald, a spokeswoman for the former first lady, told The Dallas Morning News Thursday morning.

"When she became aware of the advertisement Tuesday night, we requested that the group remove her from it," MacDonald added.

The commercial features a 2010 clip from the former first lady speaking on her support for gay marriage. She tells CNN's Larry King: "When couples are committed to each other and love each other that they ought to have the same sort of rights that everyone has."

Pope favorite has defended African ‘Kill the Gays’ laws

The top three candidates for Pope are all vehemently anti-LGBT, with one defending African laws punishing gay people with death.

Pope Benedict XVI resigned earlier today (11 February), with the 85-year-old citing ill health and his advancing age.

Ghanaian Cardinal Peter Turkson, president of the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace, has said many of the laws imposed on gay people in Africa are an ‘exaggeration.’

Last year, the National Catholic Register reported the Cardinal saying it is important people understand the ‘reasons’ why some African governments have created legislation against homosexuality.

Turkson argues the ‘intensity of the reaction is probably commensurate with tradition’, saying the African culture needs to be respected.

What Is This Shiny Metallic Thing Found On Mars?

NASA suspects that this may be piece of rover hardware, but they are not sure yet. Can it be some screw that got loose and fell off the rover? Just in case, Curiosity's team will wait until they get the close up of the object. That will help them "in assessing possible impact, if any, to sampling activities."

Christian Post Blogger Who Wrote About ‘Leaving Homosexuality’ Found Cruising for Dudes on Grindr

Christian Post Blogger Who Wrote About ‘Leaving Homosexuality’ Found Cruising for Dudes on Grindr

A self-proclaimed "ex-gay" blogger who wrote extensively for the Christian Post about "coming out of the homosexual lifestyle" was recently discovered seeking the companionship of other men on the popular gay geosocial networking app Grindr.

In a lengthy missive penned for the Post last year, Matt Moore discussed his ongoing struggles with homosexual urges following his "conversion experience."

"I can, in truth, firmly say that the longer I keep turning away from my homosexual desires, the less in strength they become," Moore wrote in "My Story: Homosexuality, Drunkenness, Grace and Redemption."

"Creating a grindr profile and talking to guys on it was major disobedience on my part," he told Jones, "disobedience to Christ."
