Teen: Trump edited my tweet about CNN

Source: The Hill

A teenage Twitter user who Donald Trump retweeted to attack CNN reporter Jeff Zeleny said that the president-elect edited his tweet.

"Pathetic - you have no sufficient evidence that Donald Trump did not suffer from voter fraud, shame! Bad reporter," Trump tweeted, quoting part of the user's tweet.

But user @FiIibuster on Tuesday showed that his original tweet did not include the words “Bad reporter,” and noting that Trump added it.
"Dishonest @CNN is blaming me for calling @jeffzeleny a 'bad reporter'. Donald Trump added that to the end of the tweet, not me. Thank you,” the user, who claims to be 16-years-old, tweeted.

The president-elect said the network is "so embarrassed by their total (100%) support of Hillary Clinton... they don't know what to do," before reposting a stream of tweets attacking reporter Zeleny.

Clinton lawyer pushes back at Trump's attacks in response to recount

Hillary Clinton’s lawyer Marc Elias responded to Donald Trump’s attacks and unsubstantiated charges of voter fraud Sunday night.

"We are getting attacked for participating in a recount that we didn't ask for by the man who won election but thinks there was massive fraud," Elias tweeted.

The president-elect went on a tweet storm Sunday afternoon over the news that the Clinton campaign had joined Jill Stein’s recount efforts in Wisconsin. The Green Party candidate has initiated a recount in Wisconsin and pledged to do so in Michigan and Pennsylvania, all states where the margin of votes between Trump and Clinton are relatively small. Unofficial vote tallies show Trump won in Michigan by less than 12,000 votes, Wisconsin by less than 30,000 and Pennsylvania by less than 70,000.

Top aide: Trump wont pursue Clinton investigation

Source: The Hill

President-elect Donald Trump will not follow through on his campaign pledge to pursue an investigation into Hillary Clinton, one of his aides told MSNBC's "Morning Joe."

"I think when the President-elect, who's also the head of your party, tells you before he's even inaugurated that he doesn't wish to pursue these charges, it sends a very strong message, tone, and content" to other Republicans, former Trump campaign manager Kellyanne Conway said Tuesday.

"I think Hillary Clinton still has to face the fact that a majority of Americans don't find her to be honest or trustworthy," she added. "But if Donald Trump can help her heal then perhaps that's a good thing."

Conway also said that "things that sound like the campaign" are not among Trump's priorities as he prepares his incoming administration.
