Difference between a Democratic Socialist and a Social Democrat

https://www.quora.com/What-is-the-difference-between-a-Democratic-Socialist-and-a-Social-Democrat
The key difference between the two here is the degree of acceptance of Marxist theory and the premise that capitalism must necessarily go. While democratic socialism advocates converting a society from capitalism to a communist society through democratic means, social democracy supports maintaing the capitalist framework, and working inside it, using economic and political interventions and government regulations/services to help the working class.

To me, 'social democracy' seems like what we've got and what some countries, particularly in northern Europe, do a bit better while 'democratic socialism' seems like the slippery slope to communism that RWers freak about.
Just to keep things "interesting," Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez aligns herself with the Democratic Socialists of America which is "a left-wing organization of democratic socialist (!), social democratic (!!) and labor-oriented members in the United States."

Apparently the ERIC Trump Foundation (now "Curetivity") is still free to grift. For now.

Looking at the AG's order dissolving the Trump Foundation (https://ag.ny.gov/press-release/ag-underwood-announces-stipulation-dissolving-trump-foundation-under-judicial) I see no mention of Curetivity, formerly the Eric Trump Foundation also being shut down-- but it is under investigation for some very 'curious activity.'

Trump's use of NDAs with his staff breaks with precedent of past administrations

Sarah Hucklebuck Sanders just lied about this at today's briefing. One lie among a pretty constant stream.

After it became public information that Trump had required White House employees to sign binding NDAs that would last even after Trump's presidency ends, The Washington Post wrote that Trump was the first president to do this. According to Debra Katz, a lawyer who spoke to The Washington Post on the subject, demanding an NDA that includes a financial penalty as Trump's is reported to have is "an outrageous effort to limit and chill speech."

"Once again, this president believes employees owe him a personal duty of loyalty, when their duty of loyalty is to the institution," Katz told The Washington Post.

As Politico reported, Obama also didn't like leaks coming from the White House. However, he didn't use Trump's businessman's tactic of requiring NDAs in order to stop them.
