"It's embarrassing that intolerant liberals won't hear both sides of whether Andrew Jackson prevented the Civil War."

Trump Inaugural Committee Listed YUUUGE FAKE Donations

THE 58TH PRESIDENTIAL Inaugural Committee, the campaign entity used to fund Donald Trump’s inauguration and related festivities, claimed in its official filing with the Federal Election Commission that it received a $25,000 donation from Katherine Johnson, the distinguished NASA mathematician and physicist. The filing listed her address at 1 NASA Drive in Hampton, Va., the location of NASA’s Langley Research Center. Johnson, who is retired at age 98, does not live at the research center.

Eugene Johnson, who described himself as a friend and power of attorney for Katherine Johnson, told The Intercept that the “donation is fake, she did not make that donation.”

Huffington Post investigative reporter Christina Wilkie noted on Twitter that other major donors do not appear to exist. The filing also lists an “Isabel T. John,” from Englewood, NJ who gave $400,000 for the inauguration. But, as Wilkie noted, John does not appear in public records databases, and the address for the donor matches a corporate parking lot. Wilkie asked the public to help her dig through the disclosure for similar inconsistencies.

Bwa wa wa - No language in Budget to prevent Mexico from paying for wall "If it so desired"

No money will be allocated for Trump’s pet project of a border wall with Mexico after he bowed to Democratic resistance to the plan. However, the deal will allocate an additional $1.5bn for border security, which one congressional aide described as “the most robust border security increase in roughly a decade”, and there was no language in the bill preventing Mexico from paying for the wall if it so desired.

German minister just said what no foreign politician dares to about Ivanka Trump

German foreign minister goes beyond other US allies to decry 'nepotism' of Ivanka Trump role
'It always bothers me when members of a family, who have never been elected, show up suddenly as official state representatives', says Mr Gabrie

Speaking to the German media group Funke, Mr Gabriel described Ivanka’s advisory role to President Donald Trump, her father, as “nepotism”, The Local reports.

He said: "For me there are things that remain strange, like for example the visit of his daughter to Germany which was treated almost like a world event, while the mix of politics with family and business reminds us instead of nepotism and would be unimaginable here."

Lawyer reported getting threatening call: "If you keep fucking with Mr Trump we know where you live"

How I Got The Facts The FBI Really Didn’t Want Me To Have
A lawyer reported getting a threatening call: “If you keep fucking with Mr. Trump we know where you live.” But who made the call? And why? The FBI’s files blacked out all the good details. That was just the beginning of the hunt.

Before last November’s presidential election, a half-dozen former FBI agents told me that Donald Trump was questioned by the FBI about his business dealings on numerous occasions since the early 1980s. But the agents couldn’t recall the details.

So together with MIT doctoral student Ryan Shapiro, I filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request for all FBI records on the Trump Organization, Trump Entertainment Resorts, Trump University, and the Trump Foundation. When the FBI failed to respond we sued, and the bureau turned over dozens of pages of documents.

One set stood out. It was heavily redacted but it contained bits and pieces of a wild story about a person who told the FBI that he got a menacing phone call from a man with a thick New York accent who threatened his family. Intriguingly, the documents stated that the call came from a New York City phone booth across the street from the Ed Sullivan Theater, where Donald Trump was appearing that day as a guest on David Letterman’s show.

The person who received the call was identified only as “C” for “complainant.” But the FBI left behind several clues that helped us figure out that it was Kristopher Hansen, an attorney who represented a group of private investors in Trump Entertainment Resorts, who received the meancing phone call a day after the casino group filed for bankruptcy.

"Caller stated he is a bankruptcy lawyer representing creditors for Donal Trump. He advised he received a threatening phone call this afternoon while at work in New York City where the caller stated, “my name is Carmine I don’t know why youre fucking with Mr Trump but if you keep fucking with Mr Trump, we know where you live and were going to your house for your wife and kids.” Phone number was received from (redacted]. Caller thinks it was Donald Trumps body guard. Wife and children should be home at this time. Wife’s name is (redacted]. Caller spoke with SGT37 and advised him him he will be filing a report with NYPD, but requested additional patrols in the area of his residence. Caller advised he has not notified his wife as of yet but will be doing so soon. SGT37 advised caller we will be checking residence periodically and to call with any new developments."
