Awful Speeches At Mom's Funeral: "They beat you with a wooden spoon & snidely emasculate you, too."

Let’s start with the eldest: Donald Jr. The warm memory of his mother that he chose to recount at her funeral? The time she disciplined him so hard she had to stop from exhaustion. Once, when they were kids, said Donald Jr, his sister Ivanka accidentally destroyed an expensive chandelier. Ivanka – it will shock you to hear – lied and said it was her brother’s fault; Ivana then pulled out a wooden spoon to teach Donald Jr a lesson. He kept insisting that Ivanka was the responsible party, but, by the time he had finally convinced his mother of his innocence, she was “too tired to deal with Ivanka”. (To be fair, he didn’t say explicitly that she hit him with the spoon; maybe she just tickled him with it.)

Ivanka’s eulogy, meanwhile? She talked about her mother telling her to wear shorter skirts. A bit odd, but not nearly as weird as the contribution from Dorothy Curry, a former nanny to Ivanka, Donald Jr and Eric. In a very dark speech, Curry talked about Ivana’s life becoming a “sinking swamp [of] parasites”.

I am not saying all this because I want everyone to feel sorry for the Trump-Kushners, by the way. I just think it explains a lot. If these kids had had a few more hugs, the world might have been spared the worst of their shenanigans.

Trump's Defense Secretary re: Trump's Dereliction Of Duty - "There Was No Order"

New: Former Trump acting Defense Secretary Chris Miller testified to Jan. 6 committee “there was no order” from Trump to have 10,000 troops on the ready for January 6, debunking what Meadows claimed on Fox News.

To remove any doubt: Not only did Donald Trump fail to contact his Secretary of Defense on January 6th (as shown in our hearing), Trump also failed to give any order prior to January 6 to deploy the military to protect the Capitol.

Designating these two white-supremacist groups as terrorist organizations will have global consequences

New Zealand recently designated two U.S. far-right groups, the Proud Boys and the Base, as terrorist organizations. This puts them in the same category as groups such as the Islamic State and makes it a crime for any New Zealander to support or join the group.

In doing so, New Zealand joins a growing trend of Western governments taking far-right violence more seriously. New Zealand’s actions may seem small, but they overlap other actions that make it harder for far-right groups to operate and fundraise around the globe.
