Bill O'Reilly reminds you that Kunta Kinte never even thanked white people for the free boat ride.

O'Reilly: Slaves Who Built White House Were "Well-Fed And Had Decent Lodgings Provided By The Government"

Slaves that worked there were well-fed and had decent lodgings provided by the government, which stopped hiring slave labor in 1802. However, the feds did not forbid subcontractors from using slave labor. So, Michelle Obama is essentially correct in citing slaves as builders of the White House, but there were others working as well. Got it all? There will be a quiz.

This girl wanted to be an astronaut; NASA told her they didn't accept girls.

Tonight we nominate her for President.

“My dream was to be an astronaut when I was about 13 or 14 years old and the United States was starting its space program. So I wrote a letter to the NASA space agency and asked how I could become an astronaut. And I got a letter back saying that they weren’t accepting women. Now, I have to be very honest with you. I could never have qualified. But it was a dream, and I have been thrilled to see young women follow that dream and do so with such skill,” she recalled in a town hall event at Ewha Womans University in Seoul in 2009.

DNC protesters dump water on Fox News’ Geraldo Rivera as crowd chants ‘Shame!’

During a contentious interview with protesters outside the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia, Fox News commentator Geraldo Rivera got doused with water.

The Daily Beast’s Andrew Desiderio posted a video clip of the incident on Tuesday afternoon.

The former talk show host was hustled away by his bodyguards as the crowd chanted “Shame! Shame! Shame!”

Rivera has tangled with demonstrators before while reporting live from racially charged protests.

The longtime Fox News contributor spoke out against former Fox anchor Gretchen Carlson‘s sexual harassment suit earlier this month.

Trump, Pence 'Don't Know What They're Talking About' With ISIS, Biden Says

Responding to Republican criticism that Democrats are avoiding talking about ISIS at their national convention this week, Biden said Trump and Pence may talk a lot about the issue, but they have offered no clear plan for what they would do if elected.

Worse, Biden said, Trump has proposed breaking up international alliances, such as the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), which he said can help address the problem.

"We have the single most significant homeland security of any country in the world. We have the finest Special Forces in the world. And what are they doing, Pence and and uh, and Trump? What they're doing is they're breaking up our alliances," Biden said in an interview with George Stephanopoulos. "These guys don't know what they're talking about."

Nancy Pelosi Declares Opposition To Obama’s TPP Trade Deal

Nancy Pelosi Declares Opposition To Obama’s TPP Trade Deal
The House minority leader joins Tim Kaine in uniting the Democratic ticket against the Trans Pacific Partnership

WASHINGTON — House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi has come out in opposition to the massive Trans Pacific Partnership trade deal as it’s currently written, putting her on the same page as newly minted vice presidential candidate Tim Kaine.

Pelosi (D-Calif.) made the declaration in a letter late last week to several groups that protested outside her offices in San Francisco and delivered her more than 200,000 petition signatures opposing the TPP.

“Please be assured that I will oppose the TPP as it is currently written or any deal that attempts to separate commerce from the environment and will work to ensure our nation’s trade policies include increased transparency, more consultation, and stronger protections to create jobs, strengthen human rights and protect the environment,” Pelosi wrote in messages sent to the Citizens Trade Campaign, the Electronic Frontier Foundation and others involved in the campaign.

Sources told HuffPost Friday that Kaine (D-Va.) had insisted to Hillary Clinton during his vetting process that he also believed she should oppose the TPP in its current form, even though Kaine voted to make passing the deal easier with so-called fast-track authority. Clinton, who said when she was secretary of state the TPP “sets the gold standard” for trade deals, has since said that the finished product did not live up to her hopes and she is no longer in favor of it.

And the guy who wrote it starts by recounting the death threats he's received

"slavery denialism"?

...as the first lady pointed out in her speech, slaves first helped build the residence where the first African-American first family has lived for the past seven and a half years.

They then turned to African Americans, "enslaved and free -- to provide the bulk of labor that built the White House, the United States Capitol, and other early government buildings."

For the raw materials needed to construct the building, a stonemason, Collen Williamson, "trained enslaved people on the spot at the government's quarry” in Virginia, according to the association.

Immigrants were also part of the crews that built the White House.

"The slaves joined a workforce that included local white laborers and artisans from Maryland and Virginia, as well as immigrants from Ireland, Scotland, and other European nations," the association website states.

Remember the happy, dancing Freedom Kids? Yeah so they're suing Donald Trump:

Back in January, a trio of young girls known as the "USA Freedom Kids" performed at a Donald Trump rally in Pensacola, Florida. The routine, which involved the girls whirling in flashy American-flag dresses and singing a song that denounced the other presidential candidates as sworn enemies, was roundly mocked on social media, where viewers likened the video to performances honoring North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un.

Now Jeff Popick, the creator behind the patriotic trio and father of the youngest member in the group, says he plans to sue Trump, alleging his campaign violated several verbal agreements and subsequently stiffed the group of proper monetary compensation.

From the Washington Post:

It started in Pensacola. When Popick first reached out to the Trump campaign about performing, he spoke with various people including former campaign manager Corey Lewandowski. His understanding from the campaign was that the Kids would make two appearances in Florida, where Popick lives. The first event didn't come to fruition, and Popick says he asked for $2,500 in payment for the second performance, in Pensacola. The campaign made a counter-offer: How about a table where the group could pre-sell albums?

According to Popick, no table ever showed up—and the incident was the first of a series of broken promises and unreturned phone calls that went on all the way to the Republican National Convention in Cleveland. There, Trump's team allegedly offered Popick a consolation prize and promised that the girls could perform because of all the previous disappointments. That performance never materialized either and now he says he's planning to file suit. He wouldn't specify how much he'd sue for, but he explained that it wasn't a "billion-dollar lawsuit" and suggested a performance at a Trump venue similar to the RNC one could also work.

Thank you Philly!

Most authentic Philly moment of the #DNC2016,
Apparently Sean Hannity showed up at the Wawa on Walnut Street, and was booed out of the store
