George Conway: "The signs of collapse are here - Question is what pushes everything over the brink"

George Conway

Exactly right: “The extent to which Republicans are distancing themselves from the White House is a poor sign for a future where even more of the administration is under investigation. The signs of a collapse are here. The question is what pushes everything over the brink.”

Trump’s administration is actually very weak. https://slate.trib.al/ERD9sDq

Trump just unfollowed Ann Coulter on Twitter

Coulter said "Trump will very likely not finish his term and definitely not be elected to a second term." Fox cited her comments around 7:05. Then this...

Trump Alert
realDonaldTrump appears to no longer follow @AnnCoulter. (This bot cannot tell if this was an unfollow, suspension or block.)

Trump’s banishment of the banshee also coincided with these comments, which she made today during a podcast interview with The Daily Caller:

“Why would you [vote for him again]? To make sure, I don’t know, Ivanka [Trump] and Jared [Kushner] can make money? That seems to be the main point of the presidency at this point.”

“They’re about to have a country where no Republican will ever be elected president again. Trump will just have been a joke presidency who scammed the American people, amused the populists for a while, but he’ll have no legacy whatsoever."

Yes, that’s exactly what you want in a world leader. Someone tough enough to get his feelings hurt by Ann Coulter.

Now your failure is complete, Donny Dorko.

Laurence Tribe: Maybe Judge Sullivan casually used the word "treason" because redacted material...

Maybe Judge Emett Sullivan casually used the word “treason” because the redacted material suggested that Flynn was working with Trump to help Turkey and Russia carve up Syria, which would give “aid and comfort” to ISIS, our ENEMY. Note Trump’s sudden withdrawal from Syria today.

Judge who went ballistic in Flynn case saved artillery for Trump's bigoted persecution of immigrants

BREAKING: Judge Emmet Sullivan just struck down trump immigration policies as being unlawful & all people deported during that time be returned to the US. Jeff Sessions parameters-out.

Yes, this is same judge that went apesh*t on Flynn case yesterday.
I’m loving this guy.

A federal judge on Wednesday ruled that most of former attorney general Jeff Sessions' decision from June making asylum claims more difficult to advance by those facing domestic or gang-related violence in their home country was illegal — a broad ruling that also allows some would-be asylum seekers a second chance to make their claims.

US District Judge Emmet Sullivan struck down parts of the June decision from Sessions that Sullivan found violated federal law, and ordered the federal government to return to the US the plaintiffs who had been deported because of Sessions' decision.

"A general rule that effectively bars [asylum] claims based on certain categories of persecutors (i.e. domestic abusers or gang members) or claims related to certain kinds of violence is inconsistent with Congress' intent to bring 'United States refugee law into conformance with the [United Nations Protocol Relating to the Status of Refugees]," Sullivan wrote. "The new general rule is thus contrary to the Refugee Act and the [Immigration and Nationality Act]."

The judge went on to find that the purpose of Sessions' policy, to heighten the standards for consideration of asylum claims at the initial, "credible fear" stage, was "fundamentally inconsistent" with the standards set by Congress.
