So, Who Were The Losers?

Re: Election Results: "When you run away from the President of your party, you lose. Period."

Before I rest for the night, let me explain the election results. When you run away from the President of your party, you lose. Period.

Amy Schumer re: Trump-maybe he’ll turn over new leaf-Or a new weave or whatever’s going on up there

Amy Schumer’s Clever Response When Asked To Give Trump Advice

They asked her:

“Now you did SNL. So Donald is doing it this weekend. What advice do you have for him? What should he not do?”

Schumer looks in the camera and perfectly responds in all seriousness:

“He should not run for president.”

Then, answering the question for the reporter in the way it was originally intended, which was asking what advice she has for Trump as a host of SNL, she says, with some added jabs:

“The best thing you can do as a host is not take yourself too seriously. I’ve never seen him excel at that, but maybe he’ll turn over a new leaf. Or a new weave or whatever’s going on up there.”

'Bernie Sanders' dances in 'Hotline Bling' parody

The 40-second spot features Sanders's face superimposed onto a body dancing like the rapper in his recently released silhouette-wiggling video.

Sanders himself danced during an appearance on DeGeneres's show last month.

An “Ellen” spokesperson said the video was a parody created by the show and was "not officially endorsed" by Sanders's campaign,

Has Warren defeated Wall Street? Fearing populist revolt-Big banks starting to downsize on their own

NEW YORK — Hillary Clinton recently went on Stephen Colbert’s “Late Show” and said she’s now prepared to bust up the big banks. If banks make too many risky investments, “they have to know — their shareholders have to know — they will fail.”

But Clinton might not have to deliver that message. Neither will Bernie Sanders, who wants to go even further in reining in the banks. Nor will Republicans who are joining in the chorus.

Because under all this heavy pressure from progressives behind Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) on the left and populists like Donald Trump on the right — and the weight of new regulation and activist shareholders — Big Wall Street is already shrinking on its own.

The evidence is everywhere.

“I’ll believe that Wall Street has really gotten the message when we go a full 12 months without a major scandal of somebody breaking the law, ” declared Warren, the political leader of the financial reform movement, in an interview with POLITICO. “But right now I think we’re doing the right thing.”
