The Photo That May Help Unlock the Trump-Russia Scandal

Congressional investigators say Trump's former national security adviser lied about being paid to dine with Putin.

Monday, Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-Md.) announced that the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform has documents indicating that Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn appears to have lied in the process of obtaining top-level security clearance to be President Donald Trump's national security advisor. The disclosure was made in a letter to Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah) that urged the committee chairman to issue subpoenas for additional documents related to Flynn's brief tenure at the White House. "We need to know what the President, the Vice President, White House Counsel, and other top officials knew about General Flynn—and when they knew it," Cummings wrote. Flynn resigned in mid-February after it became public that he had lied to Vice President Mike Pence and other White House officials about his communications with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kisylak.

Cummings' letter focused on Flynn's trip to Russia in December 2015 for a conference and dinner celebrating the 10th anniversary of RT, the Kremlin-backed news channel. Little noticed at the time, Vladimir Putin's guests that night included Flynn and future Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein—an odd couple who reflected the Russian president's efforts to court fringe figures on both the right and the left and otherwise meddle in US politics. (Also at the table were Putin's spokesman, chief of staff, and deputy chief of staff.)

Stein said the soiree was "a great opportunity to lay out some of my foreign policy proposals and get Russian reactions to them." Flynn, who commanded a $45,000 fee to speak at the event, said he didn't ask to be seated next to Putin. "I found it a great learning opportunity," he told the Washington Post.

All I wanted was 2 bottles of water for $4 and I only had a $20

Went to an event where you had to buy tickets for food and water, something I see as completely stupid. I have to stand in line buy tickets the go and stand in line to buy food, and will either have too many or too few tickets.

So I am standing in line to get tickets to get water as I was one person away from the front of the line, they closed the line, now I had stand in another line when I am 2 people away, the lady says no cash in this line. I said so I have to stand in a third line? In this process, I learn the had water for sale at the ticket counter for $2 each. I needed 2 bottles that will be $4, I hand them a $20.

This is where it gets stupid, the lady takes the 20 and gives my 4 $5 bills, then tells me that if I need to give her exact change for the water. If I didn't have $4 before what makes you think I have $4 dollars after breaking the $20?

I asked her if I could have 2 1/2 bottles for $5.

And we wonder why they vote against their own interests, they can't do simple math.

Here is an example of ignorant voters in Ohio

What would it take for Vinton County Trump backers to stop supporting him? Nuclear war, perhaps:

McARTHUR, Ohio--President Donald Trump is under increasing fire following his dismissal of FBI Director James Comey and his disclosure of top-secret Israeli intelligence to Russian officials.

But in rural Vinton County, many Trump voters say it would take a lot more than that - blatant corruption, nuclear war, or even their own deaths - for them to stop supporting the president.

In Ohio's least populous and nearly poorest county, Trump supporters aren't fazed by Trump firing Comey after Trump told Comey he hoped the director would shut down an investigation into his former national security adviser, Michael Flynn. They think Democrats and the media are overplaying reports that Trump disclosed top-secret intelligence from Israel to Russian officials.

They feel Republicans and Democrats alike aren't giving the president much of a chance to do his job.

"That's just people trying to get Trump in trouble and get him out of office [to] put somebody else that's going to bend over and kiss the government's rear end even more," said Austin Williams, a 21-year-old Trump voter from McArthur. "I just think, let the man stay in office and do his job, and next time the elections are, when it comes to voting, vote for somebody else if you don't like Trump's way."

Williams, who works as a mystery shopper for Goodwill Industries, said he doubts Trump shared classified information with the Russians (though Trump himself has admitted it). Told that the intelligence was about a threat from the Islamic State, Williams said, "that's just old news."

Disney World Considering Hall Of Presidents Changes To Silence trump.

Every time a new President is elected, Walt Disney World goes through a tough decision regarding their “Hall of Presidents” attraction. This year, that process is made harder than ever due to the election of one Donald J. Trump, and, according to Motherboard, Disney is considering a complete overhaul to the attraction so that the Trump robot will not get to open its mouth.

The Hall of Presidents is about a twenty minute experience, where guests sit in a theater and are treated to a history of politics in the United States. At the end, the curtain opens and reveals extremely lifelike robotic doppelgangers of every President we have had. Starting with former President Bill Clinton, and continuing with George W. Bush and Barack Obama, the robot of the current President also gives a speech (which a Disney representative has flown to the White House to record) before the big finale. According to a source for Motherboard, Disney CEO Bob Iger has taken note of the many petitions asking to keep the Trump-bot silent.
