Has anyone ever had a fraudulent charge on their credit card? Was it resolved?

Out of the blue comes a four-digit charge on my account-- I am told it will take a couple of days for them to research it. I asked if they can nail the thieves who tried to rip me off, but the agent was vague.

I received an email from NerdWallet saying someone has logged into my account using my IP Address

I don't think I even have NerdWallet-- is this a scam? Or should I take it seriously?

Horrific events in Davis, CA

My hometown.

I was lucky enough to have been born and raised in what used to be a delightful little town, though not like any other small town in California because of UCD.

I now live a few hours away and couldn’t help noticing how violence has seeped in over the years. This is the latest in a long series of tragedies, ones which I fear will worsen.

What is going on?? It would seem that violence now has the upper hand everywhere.

Lamar Johnson: Innocent man served 28 years now free

I just stumbled upon this and I wanted to share it. I was so glad to hear this innocent man was freed, but I was *infuriated* to also learn that, apparently, Lamar Johnson received NO compensation for being wrongfully accused.

While no amount of money can compensate him for his 28-year-long nightmare, at least it could have assured him he’d have no money worries. So glad he’s free but so disgusted that the morons who wrongfully convicted him are enjoying impunity.

Does this mean I can't use my cell phone on Monday? I have an appt Monday that requires my cell phone.

(Naturally it is practically impossible to contact Comcast, hence my question here.)
