In Iran today in 1979, 90 hostages were taken, African American and women were released.....

52 Americans were left as hostages. Jimmy Carter got them released, but fawker Reagan was inaugurated on their release date. Damn, watching the TV show “Decades” just brings back some horrible memories.

Yikes, Jimmy Kimmel also mentioned he lost half of his fans because of his tRump jokes 😳 😳 😳

When Rosenthal asked if the network ever asked him to be more politically neutral with his comedy, Kimmel replied that at one point, ABC had "hinted" he should refrain from disproportionately making anti-Trump jokes on the air.

"I have lost half of my fans — maybe more than that," Kimmel noted.

He added, "10 years ago among Republicans, I was the most popular talk show host."

Kimmel told the network that he was unwilling to stop making fun of Trump, even if it meant losing his show.

"I just said, 'If that's what you want to do, I understand and I don't begrudge you for it, but I'm not going to do that,'" the comedian stated. "If you want somebody else to host the show, then that's fine. That's OK with me. I'm just not going to do it like that."

Kimmel noted that he knew the decision would cost him fans and hurt the show's ratings but that he is "proud" to be a part of a group of late-night television comedians who speak out against Trump.

Screw ABC, asking Jimmy Kimmel to lighten up on the tRump jokes......love his response

Jimmy Kimmel practically attacks Donald Trump on every episode of his late night show, but the host says he was initially asked by ABC to tone down his trolling. When he predictably said no, the network backed down, giving Kimmel as much airtime to rip Trump as he pleased in the past six years.

The Jimmy Kimmel Live host revealed on today’s episode of Phil Rosenthal and David Wild’s Naked Lunch podcast that ABC broached the subject of his Trump coverage early on, but never brought up the subject again.

Rosenthal initiated the conversation, wondering if ABC ever asked Kimmel, “Could you not just attack this side and lay off a little bit, because we’re going to lose those people?” per The Hollywood Reporter.

Kimmel confirmed that losing republican viewers was a worry of ABC’s, telling Rosenthal, “There was at one time, maybe, I don’t know, right around the beginning of this whole Trump thing where … that was kind of hinted at, but I just said, ‘Listen, I get it. I don’t disagree. I mean, you’re right.”

While Kimmel understood the network’s concerns, he gave them an ultimatum, telling them he would walk if they wanted to pull back from the Trump critiques.

“I just said, if that’s what you want to do, I understand and I don’t begrudge you for it, but I’m not going to do that,” Kimmel said. “So if you want somebody else to host the show, then that’s fine. That’s OK with me. I’m just not going to do it like that.”

The late night host said ABC didn’t push back and met his request with an “all right,” telling the podcast, “They knew I was serious. I just couldn’t live with myself.” Love ya Jimmy.

Mark Ruffalo, had a benign brain tumor removed, lost hearing in his ear and half his face was

paralyzes for a year. He’s supporting John Fetterman.

Actor Mark Ruffalo is drawing on his own personal experience to voice his support for John Fetterman in the Pennsylvania Senate race.

In support of Mr Fetterman, Mr Ruffalo retweeted a video post from Real Doctors Against Oz, adding his own message.

“As someone who suffered a brain tumour and temporary cognitive dysfunction, I can relate to John. This is a minor thing that passes,” he wrote.

“These hard times just make us stronger, more compassionate people and better leaders. @JohnFetterman has got guts and heart. #VoteGutsAndHeartJohn.”

The accompanying video is a clip from Tuesday’s debate in which Dr Oz responds to a question on vocational training by saying: “I have an answer, but John I obviously wasn’t clear enough for you to understand this.”

Real Doctors Against Oz captioned the video: “REAL doctors don’t condescendingly mock patients who are recovering from a stroke. Here’s the truth: In January, John is going to be a lot better – but Dr Oz will still be a fraud.”
