Tonight, for the 15th consecutive year, people around the world will turn off their lights for one

hour……

Earth Hour is an annual tradition started by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) in 2007 in Sydney, Australia, to raise awareness about climate change. Participants in more than 190 countries will turn off their lights for one hour on Saturday.
Global landmarks -- including the Sydney Opera House, the Gateway of India, the Beijing Phoenix Center in China, the Brandenburg Gate in Germany, the Colosseum in Italy, the Empire State Building in the United States and Christ the Redeemer in Brazil -- will turn off their lights to show support for the campaign.

You can mark Earth Hour by turning off your lights from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m. in your local time zone.
The official Earth Hour website suggests seven ways that supporters can spend their lights-off hour, including reconnecting with nature and attending local Earth Hour events in their communities.
The WWF also recommends that supporters "take action beyond the hour, whether it is supporting a local WWF project or getting involved in Earth Hour campaigns in their own country, or starting the movement in their own community."

5 teams interested Colin Kaepernick......

David Robinson -- a famous football trainer who works with some of the NFL's best -- says multiple NFL teams have contacted him to inquire about Colin Kaepernick following a recent workout he had with the QB, TMZ Sports reports.

Robinson, who's trained NFL stars like Dez Bryant and Antonio Brown over the years says "at least" five different teams have reached out to him in the last few days after he helped run a training sesh for the former 49ers star in Dallas earlier this month.

Interesting.....teacher in MN asked to take down the Ukrainian flag......

A teacher in southeastern Minnesota has been asked by high school administrators to remove a Ukrainian flag from her classroom, a flag her students asked her to display as a show of solidarity for the war-torn country.

Byron Public Schools Superintendent Mike Neubeck says district lawyers are reviewing the school system’s policy covering what can be displayed in classrooms.

He said he’s concerned that allowing the Ukrainian flag could lead to unwanted displays.

The co-president of the local teacher’s union, Justin Blom, says displaying the flag is one way for kids to identify and talk about bullying.
