There is no need for a Mueller investagtion and Roy Moore is vindicated...

...by using the Donald Trump investigatory method: "Just Ask Them".

Trump said that Putin said he didn't have anything to do with interfering in the U.S. elections in 2016, and that's good enough for him. Same thing on that vague and ambiguous White House statement read to the press by Sara Huckabee Sanders concerning the pedophile accusations against Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore.

This may be a new standard in investigating any wrong doing in the United States. Perhaps I can use it in my work.

I oversee more than 3 dozen union maintenance contracts in Greater Boston. I participate, with others, not only in bargaining the contracts (CBA's), but in "servicing" them. I, or another union rep, enter a grievance procedure for discipline or termination of a union employee by invoking the "just cause" discipline provision in the contract. It usually has an investigatory system, and they vary from contract to contract. Perhaps we can negotiate an alternative system and call it the "Trump Provision". It would go like this, "I asked my member if he committed the infraction described by management, and he said he didn't. Case closed."

Maybe the Moron in Chief is on to something.

My Suggestion for a TV Spot in the Alabama Senate Election:

It goes something like this:

"Doug Jones was the prosecutor who brought to justice the murderer of the 4 little girls who were brutally killed in the terrorist church bombing in Birmingham many years ago. That's how Doug Jones treats the memory of innocent, young girls. On the other hand, we have all heard the news of how Roy Moore treats innocent, young girls. On Tuesday, December 12, you will be the judge of what values Alabama really stands for."

"Please support the real Alabama values. Doug Jones for United States Senate."

Donald Trump Today Excused "Rape"

Listen, I didn't use that hyperbolic analogy, he did.

And now, he thinks that same action, that he likened to "Rape" is something anyone would do.

Rule of Thumb on Upcoming Elections

the elections since Trump took over the Presidency is that each candidate runs roughly 4 to 5 points stronger than Hillary. by way of example, if Hillary won a district or state by 5 points, the Democratic candidate should win by 9 or 10.

If the Moron in Chief won a state or district by 5 points or less, that location is in play. That's a lot of seats.

Ed Gellispie lost more than an election last night

He lost his soul during the campaign. Then, he was abandoned by Satan and his minions.

Let that be a lesson to all Republicans who want to embrace hatred and bigotry for temporary gain. There are millions of lost souls like Ed Gellispie's littered by the side of the road of History.

Va. Exit polls---Northam will win by 6 points

I've been watching the exit poll numbers on CNN and MSNBC, and I have extrapolated a 6 point Northam win.

The polls have indicated that women made up 52% of the Virginia electorate, and men 48%.

Gillespie carried men by a 53% to 45% margin.
Northam carried women by a 59% to 40%.

After doing the math, Northam will win by a 52.3% to 46,3% margin. 6 points.

Latest NRA Slogan "No Lives Matter"

I saw this on DU as part of an icon this weekend.

I thought it was very clever and appropriate.

I wanted to give it wider exposure.

A Response to the People Who Say That the Problem is "We Don't Pray Hard Enough"

I have a one word Response, Australia.

Australia, very much like the United States, was settled by British outcasts. We share the same, root language. Our "wild West" cultures are similar. We are both Democracies.

However, Australia is ranked fifth in the world as the country with the greatest number of Atheists, per capita.

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/atheists-countries-list-six-world-most-convinced-a6946291.html

It also has one of the strictest gun laws of any Democracy. And, as a result, has one of the lowest homicide and suicide rates in the free world.

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/australasia/las-vegas-shooting-australia-gun-laws-control-stephen-paddock-2nd-amendment-nevada-firearm-a7980671.html

Although prayer can't hurt, perhaps, as evidenced by the links provided here, these facts suggest that stricter gun laws are a better deterrent to gun violence than prayer alone.

I have a deal for our religious friends, how about we do both.
