Grrr! Husband asked for photo ID at the polls (MO) today

I couldn't find the postcards from the Board of Elections so he took our electric bill (has his name on it). The lady at the check -in desk asked for his driver's license and when I pointed out that they can't ask for that she insisted that they needed something "with a bar code" because of the iPads they use instead of the old paper rosters of registered voters. After we voted I went over to the posters put out by the MO Sec'y of State to verify that a utility bill was an acceptable form of ID for already-registered voters. It is. I went back and spoke to one of the election judges and let her know what had happened. She seemed taken aback that one of the workers would insist on photo ID and said she would speak to her and clarify it wasn't necessary if someone was a registered voter and had any of the acceptable forms of ID.

What if he didn't have a photo ID or something "with a bar code?" Makes me wonder how many people are wrongly denied their right to vote
