10/16 Daily Dose of Joe

Friends -- see below for today's Dose of Joe.

• Yesterday Joe Biden participated in the ABC town hall where he gave thoughtful answers to voters' questions about COVID-19, taxes, racial equity, climate change, and more. He connected with the voters in the audience - directly addressing their concerns. And, even after the town hall ended, Biden stayed to talk to the voters in the audience and discuss the issues their families are struggling with. Biden’s fundamental character and decency shown through once again.

• Today, Joe Biden will travel to Michigan. In the afternoon, he will deliver remarks in Southfield on protecting and expanding access to affordable health care. After, Biden will attend an event in Detroit to urge Michiganders to vote early in person at their local clerk's office or satellite voting center. You can watch both events HERE.

• Jill Biden will travel to Florida for a Women for Biden event in Lake Mary and a Get Out the Vote Drive-In Rally in St. Petersburg. With in-person early voting starting in many counties across Florida next week, Biden will encourage supporters to make a plan to vote early and to join the campaign in getting out the vote across the state.

• Doug Emhoff will travel to Omaha, Nebraska. Emhoff will visit an official ballot drop box in North Omaha for an Early Vote event, and meet with a first-time voter as he drops off his ballot. Emhoff will be joined by Councilmember Ben Gray, State Senator Justin T. Wayne and Commissioner Chris Rodgers. After, Emhoff will headline a Biden-Harris drive-in rally in North Omaha, along with Congressional candidate Kara Eastman and North Omaha voters.

@JoeBiden: There's only one way to end this horror: Vote. http://iwillvote.com

@JoeBiden: If President Trump is successful in forcing through his nominee to the U.S. Supreme Court, it will likely repeal the ACA and 100 million Americans with pre-existing conditions will lose their protections.

Vote like your health care depends on it. Because it does.

10/14 Daily Dose of Joe

Friends -- see below for today's Dose of Joe.

• Yesterday, Vice President Biden traveled to Florida where he delivered remarks on his vision for older Americans and encouraged Floridians to make a plan to vote. Biden’s visit to Broward County stood in stark contrast to Trump’s mostly unmasked and irresponsible rally in Sanford, Florida earlier this week. You can watch full remarks of Pembroke Pines and Miramar.

• Yesterday, the first day of early voting in Texas, Jill Biden traveled to El Paso, Dallas, and Houston to encourage voters to cast their ballots for the Biden-Harris ticket by voting early in their communities.

• HBCU Times published Kamala Harris’s op-ed on the Biden-Harris pledge to HBCUs (Historically Black Colleges and Universities) and MSIs (Minority-Serving Institutions) in its fall issue. As a graduate of Howard University, Senator Harris writes that “every signal that we students received at Howard told us that we could be anything. We could come as we were and leave as the people we aspired to be."

• Biden for President launched “Looks Out,” a seniors-targeted ad featuring a testimonial from Mike Miller, a Michigan steelworker, about the importance of protecting Social Security.

• Biden for President released a new national ad series featuring millennial men in conversation and a rap battle ad with Ultimate Rap League, as the campaign continues its efforts to mobilize Black voters. The “Conversation Series” highlights four young Black men discussing issues impacting Black communities. The series includes five different ads, “Bottom Line,” “Hate,” “Just Say,” “Silenced” and “Resources,” ranging from 15-seconds to 60-seconds.
