He said that the oft repeated line that the repug base likes tfg inspite of his indictments is like saying that men like strip clubs inspite the nudity.
They like him because of the indictments and because of every other evil thing he does. Sometimes I wish our politicians would talk like that.
Maybe I'll regret asking this, but
why do MTG and the boebert woman want to impeach President Biden? Have they bothered to say? Has anyone asked them? Or are we just supposed to laugh at the stupidity? I don't think their threats should be covered at all if they have literally nothing to back it up.

Blind spots
I know I have them. Some of them I am not even aware of (hence the name blind spot), so I am not trying to absolve myself of this very human quality.
BUT... the kind of blind spot that leads you to take enormous risks to your very life is something I just can not understand. Especially if the risks are for entertainment or thrill seeking purposes.
I am truly sorry for what happened to these human beings, and I'm glad they didn't suffer as much as they could have. I hope their families find comfort in this. And most of all, I hope lessons were learned.
Nicole Wallace is the only Miami coverage that is watchable
today in my opinion. Refuse to watch CNN and endless repug guests and everything filtered through a rightwing screen. Earlier MSNBC was just bad. But her show is excellent today with great guests, including Weisman and Katyal!
No one watching the Chris Christie CNN town hall?
I'm with ya. I'd rather have a tooth pulled. But I was curious if the other "town halls" have stacked audiences like tfg's did.
I heard Wolf Blitzer say that Nikki Haley
said that tfg endangered our military. Maybe she's taking baby steps?

The thread entitled Katy Tur is a Sham (I even love that, a DU classic in its own way) has two very funny responses. I'll let you find them for yourselves. There are some witty people on this site. And we need them during these trying times. 
I will say that I prefer this to the scolding holier than thou threads that seem to pop up during times like this.
I guess this is so obvious that no one wants to mention it,
but what do you think the right's reaction to Aileen Cannon would be if she was appointed by Biden and had issued two horrible rulings AGAINST tfg (instead of for him) that were so bad that they had to be overturned? Do you think they'd be sitting on their hands issuing mealy-mouthed statements?
I'm getting the same vibes I got from all the Dems who thought Bill Barr cared about the Justice Dept. and would be an okay Attorney General.
They're uninformed, selfish, and narrow minded
not to mention uneducated, racist, fearful, and sexist. Most of you know who I'm talking about. Also, and this is important, they are only about thirty percent of the population. The MINORITY, in other words.
So why, why, in the name of all that is great about this country, are they the ONLY voters whose opinions count? We hear CONSTANTLY about how they'll never leave the idiot. REALLY? I didn't know that.
Did you know that the repug base loves tfg no matter what? If not, count the number of times it is mentioned on any cable news show. Tune in a year from now. They'll still be going on about it.
