God has told this man that Trump will win. (Should we be nervous?)

And then earth will be hit by an asteroid five years later
Oh, and God told him there would be two assassination attempts on Trump.
That man is Pat Robertson
If I were trump and I win, I'd be looking over my shoulder at what his followers were up to
Now lest you doubt that he (Pat) has a direct line to God, just a few of the many things God has told him over the years

In '82 (or '83), he predicted that the Soviet Union would invade Israel which would usher in the second coming
I remember it well. The USSR invaded, Jesus appeared, the war ended and Jesus spent the rest of the year playing beach volleyball
Then he left
It was kind of a disappointing second coming. I also thought Christ would go pro

In 1984, Robertson predicted that the End Times was five years away and that Christians would control all forms of communication
Christians would reign with Jesus
Yep. Christians control Twitter, the movie studios and the radio
That's why Kirk Cameron is able to make so many amazing movies

He predicted that in 1996, Sen Jay Rockefeller would be elected president
Ahhhhhh... the Rockefeller Years.
Everyone in America remembers where they were when the election was called for Senator Jay, as he was called throughout his campaign
Good times

In 2006, he predicted a tsunami would strike the U.S. coastline
It was Steve Doocey who explained how his prediction was correct
From Fox and Fiends
"Well, you know what, [Robertson] did predict a tsunami, although if you remember, there was a — let’s see, a couple of months ago, we did have an earthquake in the Hawaiian island chain, and do you remember the fact there were tsunami warnings in the Northeast and there wound up being a six-inch wave …”
Six INCH wave. Not centimeter, not millimeter... INCHES
Take that doubters. Steve Doocey put you in your place

2007, a terrorist attack on the United States. Didn't hear about it?
Not surprised, because Pat explained why it didn't happen
"All I can think is that somehow the people of God prayed and God in his mercy spared us.”
See. Simple. Prayed. God decided not to let us to get killed by terrorists with nuclear weapons, or whatever

In 2012, God told him the Romney would win the White House and serve two terms.
I am certain that in 2024 Romney will run again and get his 2nd term

In 2014, he predicted an asteroid would strike the earth

I am curious, at what point does false prophet take hold
or... is he a Profit of God (Profiting from God?)

New Zealand News Anchor Tova O'Brien say to RW NZ politician what I'd like to hear said to Trump

“This might be the that last time that you’re on the air,..."

Full quote
“This might be the that last time that you’re on the air, it’s probably the last time we’ll invite you on, are there any apologies you want to issue to anyone?”

She said this to soon to be former MP Jami-Lee Ross who bolted from the center-right party to form his own party. His party has been described as a fringier right-wing nuts conspiracy party.
His party scored a whopping 0.9% of the total vote.
And... he lost his seat

Eric Trump reminds us he is still an idiot (actually, lazy idiot)

Eric Trump on Saturday tweeted an image of an imposing property he claims Joe Biden owns and is possible evidence of corruption by the Democratic presidential nominee, Business Insider reports.

Said Trump: “The salary of a US Senator is $174,000 per year. This is Joe Biden’s house…. seems legit.”

“But fact-checking site Snopes pointed out that Biden hasn’t owned the property for 24 years, and had bought it for a bargain price of $185,000 in 1974 when it was derelict.”

Hasn't owned it in 24 years.
Even a cursory check would have shown that it no longer belonged to Biden

Poland: Massive WW2 bomb detonates underwater during navy operation

An enormous World War II bomb has detonated underwater after Polish navy divers attempted to make the device safe.

The explosive device — nicknamed "Tallboy" and capable of causing a small earthquake —was discovered in September last year at the bottom of a shipping channel in Swinoujscie, on the Baltic coast.

A relic of World War II, the bomb was dropped by the British Royal Air Force in an attack on a Nazi warship in 1945 and was only found during dredging of the access road to the port of Szczecin, in north-west Poland.

The intention had been to try and neutralise the bomb by burning out its explosives, but in the end, it was detonated without damage.

Greece: Leader of neo-Nazi Golden Dawn convicted of 'leading a criminal organisation'

The founder and leader of the Greek extreme right-wing Golden Dawn party, Nikos Michaloliakos, was Wednesday convicted of "leading a criminal organisation".

The court handed out the same verdict to six more of the party's former lawmakers and ruled others were guilty of participating in a criminal organisation.

The landmark verdict concluded a five-year-long trial against the party and was met with applause from crowds

The 68 defendants in the trial include 18 former lawmakers from the party, which rose to become Greece’s third-largest party in parliament during the country’s decade-long financial crisis.

Tokyo politician under fire after blaming LGBT community for falling birth rate

A local politician of the ruling Liberal Democratic Party has come under fire for claiming last month that his north Tokyo ward would "cease to exist" if the rights of sexual minorities are protected by law.

"This is impossible, but if all Japanese women were lesbian or all Japanese men were gay, then do you think the next generation of people will be born?" Masateru Shiraishi asked on Sept. 25 at an assembly session of Tokyo's Adachi Ward, in comments that appeared to blame sexual minorities for Japan's falling number of births.

The 78-year-old assemblyman made the remark when asking local government officials about the ward's total fertility rate — the average number of children a woman will bear in her lifetime.

"I do not intend to intervene in the life of someone who is lesbian or gay," the veteran assembly member said. But he added, "Getting married, having children and raising them in a normal way is very important for people," arguing it is crucial to teach such views to students at schools.

The guy is a douche
I'm grateful I don't live in Tokyo so he would be my rep
Unfortunately, the LDP has a slew of these ignorant jerks
As do some of the opposition parties here in Japan

Time For Real Change? Kyrgyzstan's Opposition Is In Control And Seeking A New Path

Kyrgyzstan is in the midst of its third revolution since 2005 and the same important questions have arisen -- who will the new leaders be and how will they move the country forward?

Many supporters of the 12 opposition parties that took part in the October 4 parliamentary elections went to the polls to vote for changes in the leadership and changes in the way the country was run.

These voters were naturally disappointed that of the 16 parties competing, three of the four parties that won seats in those elections were pro-government parties that many in Kyrgyzstan felt attained victory by buying votes and using state resources.

Barely 24 hours after the announcement of preliminary results from the vote, angry protesters had stormed the parliament building and state television headquarters, ransacked the president's office, and freed some high-profile prisoners.
