Illegal Jewish schools: Department of Education knew about council faith school cover-up
A London council’s education authority destroyed evidence of children being educated in illegal faith schools at the request of religious institutions, The Independent can reveal.
An investigation by The Independent also found that more than 1,000 children are missing from schools in London and are at risk of abuse in illegal faith schools. The schools are ultra-Orthodox Jewish faith schools at which boys are placed from the age of 13, and where they receive no education beyond studying religious texts. A number of pupils leave school with little or no ability to speak English, and few – if any – qualifications or skills which equip them to work, or live independently

In the meeting, Trust representatives discussed that in an attempt to track the whereabouts of Jewish children when they go missing from education records, they had asked legal Jewish state schools to inform them when a child was taken away by their parents to attend an illegal one instead. A Trust representative says that although they were initially able to receive evidence tracking the missing children in this way which could have enabled them to act and protect children, some of the schools threatened legal action against the Trust and that they subsequently backed down and agreed to destroy all evidence it collected on the issue.

Lunada Bay, an out-of-the-way cove on the Palos Verdes peninsula south of Los Angeles, is one of the best big-wave surfing spots in California. In the shelter of its steep, semi-circular cliffs are a pristine beach and the promise of 20-foot winter swells. And, unlike so many other prime breaks on the US west coast, its waves are miraculously uncrowded.
That’s because anyone who wants to surf there must first get past the Lunada Bay Boys, an infamous local surfing clique known routinely to chase off outsiders with threats, harassment and, in some cases, violence. At the top of the dirt path that leads down to the beach, the Bay Boys once posted a sign that warned: “Unlocals will be hassled.”

Contrary to the image of a typical LA gang, the Bay Boys are largely white and affluent, like their Lunada Bay neighbours. Among the 100 or more members of the group are firemen and school-teachers, said Vic Otten, the lawyer who filed the suit. “What’s really shocking,” he added, “is that in many cases these are men in their 50s and 60s.”

Recently, the California Coastal Commission demanded local officials crack down on the gang for restricting access to what is supposedly a public beach, and urged them to either approve the clubhouse as a public space, or tear it down. The Palos Verdes authorities have been accused of spinelessness and even complicity in their attitude to the Bay Boys.

Yep.. mostly white, male, in their 40's, 50's and 60's. Their apologists claim they can't be gang, the police do nothing because they're not violent enough, the Lunada Bat Boys admit they harass people, included is at least one documented case of sexual harassment (in the story) and they harass children (a 10 year old boy)
Would be curious how faux spews, cnn and the rest of them would classify these overaged, alcoholic, miscreants?
Kolkata flyover disaster: building firm staff face charges as death toll rises
Indian police have arrested three employees of the construction firm building a flyover that collapsed in the eastern city of Kolkata, as the death toll rose to 26, a senior officer said on Saturday.
The arrests were made on Friday evening after police sealed the Kolkata office of IVRCL, the contractor behind the ill-fated construction project in West Bengal state.
Five other staff were detained for questioning over the tragedy that unfolded after a 100-metre section of the flyover collapsed on Thursday, crushing pedestrians and vehicles on the street below.
“Three mid-level officials of the Hyderabad-based construction firm were arrested last night,” Kolkata police’s joint commissioner, Debasish Boral, said.
“We have also detained five others of the firm, sealed its office in Kolkata and sent a notice to its managing director to join the investigation into the incident.”

Garfield County, WA reminds why you should get out and vote
Sanders won Garfield County, WA by a 60-40 margin
Had one Democrat showed up and voted for Clinton, it would have been 50-50
Sanders won Garfield County by a vote of 3-2
Garfield isn't the only county that has had these tiny numbers, there were a few in Nevada, Sanders took 100% of the vote in State House District 6 and 40 in Alaska. In both instances he won 12-0.
The Republicans have had similar instances, Trump squashed Cruz by 23% in District 39 and 14% in 40, he beat Cruz by 21 votes in 39 and 3 votes in 40

Democrats Abroad Release The Results
For those of us who voted, the votes have been counted and here are the results:
EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa Region) cast 60.86% of the vote and had 5 delegates. They broke 3-2 for Sanders
Asia-Pacific cast 19.72% of the vote and had 2 delegates, they split 1-1
Americas cast 19.42% of the vote and split 1-1 as well.
Sanders got 5 of these delegates and Clinton got 4 from regional vote.
Sanders gets 4 more delegates that are delegated based on overall vote which gives him 9 and Clinton got 0 which leaves her at 4.
The rules for Democrats Abroad go like this:
There are 13 pledged and 4 unpledged: 8 Superdelegates with .5 votes each
Delegates are allocated to regions based on the number of voters in that region compared to the total number of voters. All regions are guaranteed at least one delegate, to be assigned to the presidential candidate with the highest number of global votes.
In regions allocated two delegates, the second delegate shall be allocated to the second-place candidate with more than 15% of the vote. In this case, Asia-Pacific and Americas each receive one delegate allocated to Secretary Clinton and one delegate allocated to Senator Sanders.
The Europe, Middle East & Africa region is allocated five delegates in total, to be allocated proportionally to the presidential candidates with more than 15% of the global vote. Thus the EMEA region will elect 2 delegates pledged to Secretary Clinton and 3 delegates pledged to Senator Sanders.
