Notice how...the deeper he gets...

...the more of a chasm is opening up within his party?

This is history unfolding.

Isn't it amazing?

For as far back as I can recall the Democratic Party gets millions of more votes overall for the Presidency and Congressional elections.

Yet look who is in power.

Another independent commission we need

We need an independent commission to look at the condition of voting in this country and to come up with some basic federal guidelines for the States to insure access and accuracy.

"Bernie isn't a Democrat"

You hear that refrain here. Heck I've been known to drift there also.
Here's a post for example:
https://www.democraticunderground.com/?com=view_post&forum=1002&pid=9423063

What you do not hear is Bernie getting any credit for NOT running as an Independent and therefore, if he did, really tearing the Democratic Party apart.

So I guess since Bernie gets so much shit for being an Independent maybe these folks would have been happier if he'd run as an Independent?

Somehow we need to focus on the goal:
Getting Democrats in power and holding their feet to a progressive fire that demands justice and opportunity for the masses.

Saudi-Putin-Tillerson-Koch...etc...

Looking forward to the day (I think coming sooner rather than later) when renewable energy drives oil prices down even more than they already are. Those Saudi Royal murdering (see link below) bastards are losing money. So is Putin and Tillerson.
As solar derived energy grows they lose power and grow less influential upon the real world's stage. Putin hates these sanctions and Tillerson almost had that big deal via Exxon/Mobil and Vlad. Darn it. Lol.
Look to Merkel of Green Germany.
Interesting times.

Let's face it

pResident Bone Spur has transformed the Presidency of the United States of America into a base-level reality TV series.

He even spits in the face of Congress yet still remains.
Go figure.

King Chaos

tRump reminds of a wannabe king.

His cabinet must perform for him because he gets bored easily.
And by perform I mean he loves pitting them against each other to see who "wins". This seems to be "entertainment" for him. Rancid vs The Mooch....winner: Mooch. Next up Kelly vs Mooch.

Like the kings of old and their court jesters or Romans with their gladiator battles.
He's turned the Whitehouse into an Apprentice Show or Survivor Show. The media gets fixated on who's out or who's in complete with post-game interviews not unlike those TV shows.

Policy details? Governing? Nope...he's having too much "fun".

He's a sick sick sadistic person.

Good summary I found on FB....

"President Trump is trying to run the greatest country with his phone. Its lazy cowardly and weak. Also he's a pathological liar, dictator wannabe. His idol is dictator Putin."

What the "skinny repeal" will do

It will raise premiums thus increasing subsidy support for those getting help in the individual market to cover the difference. This is a substantial increase in government spending.
Many who are above the income threshold and therefore not eligible for help in the individual market will be priced out and lose coverage.

Employer-based insurance costs will soar and with the removal of the employer mandate they will simply drop coverage.
Employers who don't drop covererage will see increased costs and remember many of these employers are local, state, and federal public employers meaning a big increase in government spending.

This skinny bullshit is a costly idea that will increase government spending and saddest of all cost lives to be lost. Nothing "conservative" about it.
