John Schneider Calls for Joe Biden's Execution After Losing on The Masked Singer

Former Dukes of Hazzard star John Schneider and recent runner-up on The Masked Singer has called for the execution of President Joe Biden and his son, Hunter Biden.

After being revealed as Donut on the singing reality show and finishing in second place on Wednesday night (December 20th), Schneider shared the following tweet: “Mr. President, I believe you are guilty of treason and should be publicly hung. Your son too. Your response is..? Sincerely, John Schneider.”

The since-deleted post was in response to Biden’s tweet about former President Donald Trump, in which he wrote, “Trump poses many threats to our country: The right to choose, civil rights, voting rights, and America’s standing in the world. But the greatest threat he poses is to our democracy. If we lose that, we lose everything.”

Another J6 Proud Boy goes down.

A Florida Proud Boy who claimed he was trying to help police on Jan. 6, 2021, by throwing a rock at the Capitol doors was sentenced to five years in prison on Friday.

Anthony Sargent, 47, pleaded guilty earlier this year to a felony charge of civil disorder and six misdemeanor charges including engaging in physical violence in a restricted building and disorderly conduct.

The day of the Capitol attack, Sargent could be seen on video repeatedly throwing a rock at the Capitol doors and encouraging others to attack the building. Sargent also “physically separated a law enforcement officer” from a rioter and “prevented the officer from apprehending the rioter,” according to the Justice Department.

During his sentencing, Sargent attempted to downplay his role in the violence, telling U.S. District Judge Dabney Friedrich that he was trying to help police officers when he repeatedly threw a rock at the Capitol doors. Friedrich called the claim “laughable.”

Project Veritas CEO quits, citing 'strong evidence of past illegality and past financial improprieties'

Hannah Giles, the chief executive of Project Veritas, said Monday she has stepped down from her role at the right-wing group “effective immediately,” after discovering evidence that the organization has engaged in “past illegalities.”

“Though I had high hopes when I joined the organizations, I stepped into an unsalvageable mess — one wrought with strong evidence of past illegality and past financial improprieties,” Giles wrote in a post on X. “Once such evidence was discovered, I brought the information to the appropriate law enforcement agencies.”

The right-wing group, which was created by James O’Keefe in 2010, is known for its selectively edited undercover sting videos that target journalists and progressive groups, including CNN and The New York Times. The edited videos published by Project Veritas often champion disinformation and conspiracy theories.

On this day, November 10, 1975, the SS Edmund Fitzgerald went down

SS Edmund Fitzgerald was an American Great Lakes freighter that sank in Lake Superior during a storm on November 10, 1975, with the loss of the entire crew of 29 men. When launched on June 7, 1958, she was the largest ship on North America's Great Lakes, and she remains the largest to have sunk there. She was located in deep water on November 14, 1975, by a U.S. Navy aircraft detecting magnetic anomalies, and found soon afterwards to be in two large pieces.

The disaster is one of the best known in the history of Great Lakes shipping. Canadian singer Gordon Lightfoot made it the subject of his 1976 hit song "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald" after reading an article, "The Cruelest Month", in the November 24, 1975, issue of Newsweek.

Rock collected by Apollo 17 astronauts reveals moon's true age

Lunar dust collected by Apollo 17 astronauts in the 1970s has revealed that the moon is 40 million years older than previously believed.

After landing on the moon on December 11, 1972, NASA astronauts Eugene Cernan and Harrison Schmitt collected rocks and dust from the lunar surface. A new analysis of that sample detected zircon crystals and dated them to 4.46 billion years old. Previous estimates put the moon, formed by a massive celestial collision, at 4.425 billion years old.

The findings were published Monday in the journal Geochemical Perspectives Letters.
